I love hearing my kids laugh, they're young and sometimes they can laugh so hysterically to the point where almost no noise comes out of them, you know they've gone over the edge of laughing and it makes you laugh just as hard also. It can sometimes be a process to render an image down to 16 colors and make it look good. It took me a while to get my bootskin process nailed down, If you want I can help you with the bootskin image, see my profile and email me the image if you're interested, I'll convert it to 16 colors to the best of my ability. Hi Jack, you may not be able to upgrade the onboard graphic chipset but you can purchase a video card (based on what your system supports, pci/agp?) and install it and then disable the onboard graphics adapter so that you system utilizes your newer more powerful graphics card. using sks was an accident, I was attempting to open the obskin file with another type of text editor and clicked on skinstudio by accident, when I noticed that skinstudio broke down all the sections of the right click and allowed me to view the bkgrnd image and adjust the margins, select tile or stretch, transparency and then actually stretch the image to see how it looked at different sizes. HG I like your idea, I would support it, I've reported a couple of wb skin rips in the past, acknowledgement for the effort would be a good thing and sends a message to the users of the site that it's user base also takes a hand in preventing rips. Mountainhawk I have more spiderman bootskins than Al does and I'm sure if there was a bigger offender of fan art use, it would be me and not Alperium. the file is a png but once imported into skinstudio gets converted to a .tga file, and then I enable transparency (as shown in the screenshot I uploaded above) it's my first rc skin so I might not know a thing about what i'm talking about (wouldn't be the first time and definitely won't be the last either ). actually I just found that I can use png's (actually they're converted to tga's). open up the obskin file in skinstudio, import the png graphic file you want to use much the same way you would when working on a wb skin. Importing the png file using skinstudio converts it to tga and you then have the use of transparency instead of using bmp's with magic pink.
