if the cpu usage is down enough to warrant a 5 min then go for it. AFSG_Jedi good link, those could do without the standby and sound, but both would be good to see how it plays out..graphics could be better and some sort of changing info on the screen like planet info to medical or something...

muckyman you need to apply for citizenship as soon as possible and make a friend in the states that will let you live there for a few so you can take advantage of this offer..i am just saying that all of stardocks customers should be treated the same in a contest no matter where they live, wether it is stardocks or alienwares rules...either way you still got some cool dreams out there and deserve a virtual prize then......

paul you might want to update your nvidia drivers. you are using an older version that does not correct some of the issues the new versions do. but make sure to uninstall your old one first....vista codec pack is ok to try if all is not going well...and it sometimes does help those who have tried everything else..give it a try and get back to us.....

my first was a commodore64...nothing beats shoving a cartridge in the keyboard to play a game and how sweet the system looked with its big and i do mean big floppy drive..and how much space it took up and not to mention it cool color...but it is amazing to see how far things have come since then..

do you have the final version of dreamscene? UAC turned off? DEP turned off? all strdock is up to date? yes the dreams will play in media player as a stand alone player but when dreamscene is running and deskscapes you may run into problems if everthing is not up to snuff..what version of the forceware driver did you install? you should have installed the latest beta driver.....uninstall quicktime, and get rid of realplayer..go into your reg and wipe it clean of divx and realplayer and nvidia

no motion sickness....lava lamp speed is good and I also think that some of these dreams getting passed should not even get the go ahead to be posted. I would hope that with deskscapes 2.0 coming out we will see a flux of talent pour in......just my thought

yeah, get rid of the divx and also when you update your video drivers do you completly remove all files associated with the old drivers? nvidia drivers when installed over older ones do not replace certain files...that being the nvlddmkm.sys file..if you need to reinstall again wipe that file from the system32 folder and the system32/drivers folder as well....hope this helps......

now if deskscape 2.0 runs without dreamscene running then we can be glad that it is 1 less programm running and should also help out nvidia users who still might be having problems. plus any games that require you to turn off dreamscene to have a decent experience will be a plus as well, since crysis is coming out...

i wouldn't mind seeing a highly detailed dream of the night sky slowly changing over to day light with some hi def clouds and slowly transition back to night. or natalie portman morphing into vader and the his saber lights up and then morphs into megatron and then transforms into portman again....

New Nvidia Beta drivers claim to fix nvlddmkm issue in Animated Wallpapers WinCustomize Forums

if you haven't installed your new beta drivers then get over there and do it. i think they have finally gotten to the point where they are now taking aim at making dreams work with their drivers. lot of fixes and bugs addressed in the new driver................make sure though that you uninstall the drivers and then manually delete the files from the system32 file as they are not deleted or overwritten...hope these drivers can help some people who are still having problems..... <a href=
