Nice photos Lantec...sunsets/sunrises are always great subjects.
Here's a site that lets you select all your components, and adds up your total power consumption. Even though I had to guess on a couple of items, I came out with about 300 Watts, which is a bit more than my poor little power supply box was designed for. http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply/
Thanks for the quick reply I have posted on another forum, and someone suggested it could be my power supply. It is the original one (something around 200 Watts), and I have since upgraded or added things (including the vid card and a new DVDRW). I am going to try replacing the power supply with a newer one (300 watts) and see if that clears up the problem.
For subscribers, it might be around 20 MB (not positive)...as I currently have almost 2 MB uploaded, and the little gauge says 9% full. I don't know what the maximum dimensions are, but when you upload, a thumbnail is automatically created, which opens a larger image and has the Next, Previous navigation...you can then click on that image to get a new window which shows the image at full size. So, no, I don't think you need to size your photos to a spe
For several weeks now, whenever I turn on my PC, it freezes up during the boot process. Not always at the exact same spot either...blue welcome screen, black screen, or just as my desktop starts to load. I'm forced to do a hard shutdown...then it usually boots up okay after that. It only happens on a cold boot (after it's been off for a while). I've had a couple of different techie folks test it...first one had it freeze up just trying to get into BIOS
Can I install my copy on more than one machine? Yes, to a point. Only one copy of the product can be used at once per license. But if you want to have it on both home and work or install it on the road that is not only allowed but recommended. As long as only one copy is actively in use (someone sitting at the computer)
oh sorry...I must've misread his post, thought he was wanting to save his png without the background. Sorry if I confused things.
If you're a WinCustomize subscriber, you can get that skin in the Subscription Resources section (link is part ways down the left side of this page).
When you're done editing your image (without the background) go to File > Export > PNG Optimizer... In the optimizer window, click on the Transparency tab, and make sure you select the Alpha channel transparency , and leave the bottom section default. Then give your png image a file name and location to save.
I *just* bought a Dell laptop, Inspiron 6000. I wanted something smaller & lighter, but didn't want an integrated graphics card. If you're not too concerned with graphics, their 700m looks nice and compact. What I did was to get the latest Laptop magazine (or check them online) and look through some of their reviews. It just depends on what is higher on your list of priorities, what you plan to do with it.
Thanks FL. 306 MB not too bad for a 3-year period.
Where can we find our total downloads? I've seen it once before, but can't find it now.
I don't know how their customer support is...but I didn't have much luck with their sales rep. I was shopping for a new laptop and called them to ask questions about custom ordering one. The guy refused to answer any of my general questions without first getting a lot of personal information...so I hung up. I waited a few days, then just ordered a laptop from them, not really the way I wanted it. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif
oh! The FAQ page on the app's site...duh! Got it, thanks paxx! edit: I just found Snidely's port of OpusOS, which works nicely for me.
Thanks for the help Bichur. FAQ page? Do you have a link to it? Thanks again.
...if it is even a WB skin? http://www.ccleaner.com/showscreen.asp?id=1
April? Didn't we just start April?
My old desktop (being fixed) was upgraded from WindowsME to XP Home. I just bought a laptop and it has XP Pro.
Yay! It's working again! And the page loads very quickly!
After re-reading Brad's article on WinCustomize 2K5 http://frogboy.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?SID=5&aid=59009&UID=259484 I recall him mentioning that the only way a Trillian library section will be added, is if Trillian (Cerulean Studios) provides reciprocal link on their website (to this one). IIRC, he did say WC contacted them with the proposal, but never heard back. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
It worked! I managed to get the behemoth to bump to the top of the list! Now...if anyone is able to post to it, that's the next challenge.
I don't mean to double post but...I think this thread has a lead weight attached to it...it isn't going to the top of the list, even after I posted to it. Sorry...I tried...
I was able to get into the thread, but when I added a comment and clicked submit, it eventually timed out without ever accepting my post.
