Wow! Those are really nice..but aren't the object dock icons usually very large? Hmm...maybe I can size them down to a standard sized icon...is that possible? Thanks pictoratus!

Does anyone know where I can find any Paint Shop Pro 8 icons?...maybe sort of like the one that appears on gillon's screenshot for NextStart/Avenger. Thanks

That was it! Thanks risblaque!
I just found a 'lookalike' font called Charlemagne, but it costs $21 at myfonts.com. Not sure how close to those you are looking to get, but you might want to check out the Riven and Exile fonts at http://members.aol.com/agesofmyst/handwriting.html I checked and those are free for distribution. Hope that helps... [Message Edited]
I don't know what Charlseworth looks like...is that an example of it in the title bar of your image?
I've noticed, for the last couple of days, that when I go to exit windows and turn off my computer, the "Turn Off Computer" window appears skinned with a previous skin (not the skin that I'm currently using). I'm running WB4 on my XP. Anyone know what might be causing this? Is there a setting that I need to check/uncheck? Don't know why it's suddenly doing this.

It isn't doing it now, when I went back to the message board front, it returned to the 'normal' listing. So, never mind...
I just happen to notice the "Top Authors" listing on the right side of the page ===> It has a completely different list of names than what is usually there, and they are all set to 0 (zero). I only recognize one name. Is this something new?
Ingui, I'm also looking forward to getting my PSP8 box delivered (hopefully tomorrow) and customizing it. Like you, I'll probably keep version 7.4 as well, for the same reasons. Glad to hear that you like it. Thanks for the info.
Darco, same here...I only use Stuffit Expander for extracting walls from BSH (awesome site btw). Vtach, if you DL Stuffit, or any zipping program, it *should* ask you (during install) which file types you want to associate with it...I just deselect everything, then sort it out later (or you can go into the program's properties and make adjustments there). I had a similar problem with the beta version of Pai
XP's version will open any .zip file...and you are correct, that you can choose to open those with your WinZip program by right-clicking and selecting "Open With". It won't open .sit files, those can be extracted using the freeware Stuffit Expander, which I have as well.
On XP, if you want to reassign the .zip format to be opened by XP's own zip program (instead of Winzip): - Go to your control panel (thru start menu) - double-click on Folder Options (new window opens) - select the File Types tab - scroll down to ZIP and select it - below that in 'Details for ZIP extension' click on the Change button - in the 'Open With' window, under Recommended Programs, select "Compressed (zipped) Folders" AND - make sure you checkmar
It sounds like you might have your .zip files associated with Winzip. If you right-click on the zip file, then go to "Open With..", if you see "Compressed (zipped) folders"...that is the XP version of unzipping. I had the same problem when I installed Stuffit.
Are you using XP? XP has a built-in zip/unzip feature which is nice...I use that to unzip my d/l files. I asks you where you want to unzip your files to, and creates a folder there.
"I just can't go back to regualer windows... I just can't." I agree! And thank you for adding the No Gripes choice.
I just emailed Stardock with the same question. Their answer (and quick too!): "If you go into your WindowBlinds directory (default location is C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds) and open up the "ReadMe" file, you should see the version number at the top."
CM was installed automatically with the rest of OD components...so once I get everything set *just right* I will DL stardock central. But based on the readme file (above) it says I should make those adjustments before installing CM...strange, since I wouldn't see the readme file until after I installed it. <br
Install completed...now for a couple (more) questions... In the readme file I see the following: Windows Terminal Server: before installing the Component Manager, you should execute the following command to ensure that the shared library files are updated: "Change User /Install" at a command line prior to installing CM. "Change User /Execute" at a command
Thanks for input gm...I gathered that WindowFX was geared towards those with Windows98 or 2000, I have XP. Maybe I didn't quite understand what FX does. Yes, I'm glad for the option of loading only the progs that I want (for now). Although I was just browsing the NextStart library...and THAT looks like a great prog too! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIG
The only program I've been using (from SD) has been WindowBlinds (for the last year and a half). I've recently purchased the full OD package disk...and am about ready to install. However, I see it comes *fully loaded* with every imaginable program. For now, I plan to load: - Component Manager - WindowBlinds (4beta) - IconPackager - Skin Studio I guess my question is, should I try DesktopX (pros/cons?) and what other (if any) items in the package are absolut
JM beat me to it!
That's a good one! Or maybe the dude's pickup gets fixed?
It's morning now and the thumbs back. Much appreciated! Thumbs Up to WC.
