I'd like to "upgrade" my Component Manager to the current Stardock Central...how do I go about obtaining SC? And...do I need to first uninstall or delete the component manager?

Thanks for the info, and your hard work Nakor!
Same question as previous one (Oops98672)...

y'all are c-r-a-z-y! ...looking forward to seeing the mugshots.
XP Home @ home...XP Home, Linux, and a few others @ work.
Gateway 17" (Mitsubishi Diamondtron flat screen)...which is nice, but after working on a 22" behemoth at work, it seems puney. I would *really* like to get an 18" or 19" LCD...but am still shopping around. Costco has Princeton 19" LCD for under $600....hmmm.
I saw a small screenshot of some skins and a tiny little article in PC World mag (summer 2001). They provided a link to windowblinds.net. I thought about it for six months...then finally bought WB, without even trying it first. When WB4 was released, I purchased OD. Now, if only I can figure out this Skin Studio, and make a skin myself!
Thanks for your suggestions...I'll take a look at those programs.
Thanks, I have DW myself...but this would be for a friend, so I was thinking more along the line of a smaller program (freeware or shareware) that can be used as a text/HTML editor. She has some html experience, but isn't a major programmer. Thanks again.
Can anyone recommend a good/decent one (besides notepad)? Thanks

There was another topic posted to this board a while back regarding Color Pad...found it, check the link below. https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=161264#161479
Believe it or not, I understood everything!
Thanks sig101, I did notice the SDC, and will probably change over to that eventually. Think I'll wait until 4.1 though. Should I uninstall the Component Manager before installing SDC? Thanks again!
Try going to View>Toolbars>Customize then selecting Large Icons in the Icon Option drop down menu.
I have "View All Components" selected at the top/right of the Available Components window. It still only indicates 3.51, 4.00b, and 4.00 versions are available.
I noticed some references to a WindowBlinds version 4.09. When I look at my Component Manager, it only lists 4.00 as an available version (which I already have). Could someone point me to the proper location to update my WB version? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your help everybody! I'm pretty sure I have only the one directory of skins...but will double check to make sure. I just needed to trim it all down, it was taking a long time to open the skin browser due to all the skins! Thanks again!
In WB4 skin viewer, I scrolled through the various skins, and deleted some of them. However, when I go to my WB folder (in WinExp) their folders and wba files are still on my hard drive. Do I need to go to WinExp and manually delete those same skins (folder and wba files)?? Or did I not use the skin viewer to delet them in the first place?
I just posted a very similar question here a couple days ago...and sttroopers is right...just create a shortcut on either desktop or quicklaunch, then change the icon there. I tried to change it on the .exe file, but the "Change Icon" button was not available.
Okay, I have the icons I'd like to use...but now when I right-click on PSP and go to the properties window, the 'Change Icon' button is not available. I also tried with the .exe file, but nothing there (for changing icons).
