Seconded. I know the robust option is been worked on but I and everyone I know wouldn't mind an opt-in stop gap, make complex custom ship libraries at your own risk option in the meantime.

Nebulae don't seem to form around stars and planets. So you need gaps between those for them to form. I was playing on a spiral galaxy and started in the centre and was seeing none until I started travelling through the empty space between arms (also where all the black holes went).
Thats it in a nutshell. The functionality of the triangle has been replaced with leader citizens which fill the same role of on fly civ wide adjustments, but they can be allocated to even more forms of production than before (as you unlock more techs) and you have other types for bigger boosts on top of that from other specialist citizens. But it's gated now so it's flexibility and intensity grows as the game goes on rather than being fully unlocked at the start.
Somewhere the composer Stardock hired is shaking their head and thinking to themselves "why can't they just let what's mine be mine?". Though you might want to try looking here http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/collections.php If there's a common track origin between game titles these days, then it probably came from here originally. You probably won't find the main melody as those are of
It's named "Bazaar_Loop01" and it sounds nothing like the cantina theme... Probably a custom track. It's just similar sounding to other things. Actualy, reminds me of the music in Discworld Noir.

I'd also like to be able to assign ships/fleets to command groups and set movement waypoints. Edit: And while we are at it I'd also like a next ship/fleet button. Not just next idle. Super handy in the early game and still useful in the late game for pinging around the map and getting a sense of the distribution of your forces.
I disabled Ascencion Victory, but still can find Ascencion Crystals on my map. Or do they now have another effect besides preparing for Ascencion victory? Edit: I would love that btw, e. g. giving out small amounts of random resources.
Ancient races get a research bonus from them.
There is a typo in the ImprovementDefs.XML it has been fixed in this unofficial patch. https://forums.galciv3.com/482857/page/1/#3676414
Uh not yet it hasn't...
So will this fix the numerous trade screen bugs?
My understanding is you just get one every 10 turns no matter what you do.
Can't you still "promote" with the option that means they "retire" rather than reassigning them so you get another 50 points and then make 10 new admins?
I'd agree with that. If they were actually giving a max of +60% globally to their allocated field as advertised that is one thing. But if they are giving potential +10 base unit per planet... Holy hell... Getting many given income types over base value of 10... For single planet... That's a full population on a large idyllic world that's been heavily specialised. Even the endgame wonders aren't that powerful, let alone flexible. For income, it's not such a big deal... But research and product
Are the miniaturisation specialities for laser and kinetic weapons supposed to be 10 times the research cost of the other specialities? They cost more than twice as much as massive scale construction tech. O_o Edit: Also I should point out there is all kinds os weirdness going on with AI in trade negotiations. I'll try list the things I've noticed... If they offer you a trade that includes any kind of resource, you can't remove that resource from the counter offer, just
Same use. In fact the omega centre from the same tech never became available either. I'm not sure what half the research focused techs actually do anymore...
Traits are showing up in the civilisation builder twice. I consistently get vigilant and warriors twice. If you select the duplicate (the second one, further down the list as far as I can tell) and save, the race will save fine but upon selecting the race it will be illegal because it will have that trait selected twice (thus 3 of 2 traits point spent).
3. The combat system in Elemental needs to be overhauled as well. We are in the process of eliminating action points from tactical combat in the free expansion and instead combat speed will determine initiative and so units will move based on that (rather than attacker side then defender side, the turns will be in order of combat speed and the faster the combat speed of a unit, the faster your unit is, the more turns he gets during a given round.
This will drastically i
Lets not forget there's still a huge number of people on Dialup. Do not respond with well they should shell out and upgrade to broadband. I'm sure they would if they could but their regions just don't have the infrastructure to support broadband, it just isn't available to them... Satellite maybe... But that's crazy more expensive and not as good as broadband either.
Interesting, as by EB games (Melb - CBD), they have stock on order and expecting shelf copies tomorrow - copies that are not pre-ordered but for sale to walk-ins. A tactical combat speed slider would hugely improve playability. In addition to a quick move/skip animations button. Another thing that would help would be the option to select another unit and order their attack while the previous one's animation is playing out. Letting it carry out it's attack semi simultaneously would be nice if its possible without creating exploits. Otherwise queueing the orders would be helpful. Also if I select another unit while and animation is running, stop the auto
Or they could have delayed the game till February and by all reports it still would have major issues at release. Additionally you wouldn't be able to play it right now and point out any such issues so it's a stable decent game when February does rock around. No the book has issues with grammar and punctuation. I read one hate filled review that comment how there's an average for 3 em dashes "—" per page. When I got the book I discovered that part is actually true. They are used
I think the fairest assessment/comparison would be to call it fanfiction. :-/ It's not gouge your eyes out terrible like some reviews suggest... But the book does have issues.
After speaking to several store managers (EB's, Game, JB's) it's ebcome clear you can only get it from the stores if you preorder it. That right it's preorder only. Additionally its not due to arrive to next month by some reports... And there is no limited edition available. It's regular only. That said I ordered the limited edition from Stardock and it arrived in the mail today. :-)
