Having commercials advocating the use of marijuana would undermine their anti-drug program. It's the same reason why one never sees commercials against alcohol consumption.

Personally, I feel that Israel has every right to demand foreign workers in THEIR country to follow such strict policies. It's not as if foreigners have nowhere else to go if they desire a haven from their homelands, especially if there are countries out there that welcome immigrants. I look at it as I look at housing. To live in some places, I must abide by certain rules, such as being of a certain age or not having pets, but if I refuse to accept such rules, I can always find somewhere else to
I'm surprised that it still happened, as I remember hearing about it the first time. I guess some of those places thought it wouldn't happen to them. I think some people need to be put out of business for their insolence.
If we only acted defensively, we'd simply be giving terrorists more time to grow stronger in their home countries knowing they have no reason to fear us. By playing the offense, we're sending a message that we will not tolerate terrorism and they will not escape from us no matter where they hide. I'm also pretty sure that we did not try Bin Laden and Hussein knowing that they would become our enemies. People change, even evil people.
Great news! Merry Christmas indeed!
America might think it's invincible, but the terrorists somehow think they're justified, and unless I'm mistaken, purposely killing innocent people is never justified, especially when its justification is something that isn't life or death, and simply lashing out against a nation that doesn't always give them their way. There are other groups that want the United States destroyed, which means that destroying Islam would not mean the end of terrorism, but I'm sure that those groups are much m
I'm positive it isn't his, unless he's just recently started referring to himself in the third person, which if he has, then I want to know which team he's on (hopefully the Kings!)!
Is there a nation out there that would simply surrender to terrorists and ask "Why do you hate us? We only wanted to love!" I can't honestly imagine any country doing that, and I'm sure that there are groups out there that feel justified to bomb any country that can be named.
If the reason and diplomacy that the US is trying to use now isn't going to work, then I think that the US is completely justified in using force without reserve against its enemies. At least we would have given peace a chance.
I think the difference between Stardock's financial reports and news of being sued is the fact that Stardock isn't sued by TGT Soft over use of the IP format annually (unless I'm mistaken). Therefore, this is news, while a financial quarterly isn't.
I've never expected to see something like this happen. I thought it would always be TGT Soft who were being sued.
Thanks for clarifying some misconceptions I had about DesktopX. I especially like the fact how it could have Flash games as desktops. I guess we could agree that the Konfabulator objects tend to look more polished. It also seems harder to find matching objects, but I guess that's because there are just so many looks one can give the desktop, while there's just Aqua on the Mac. I also tried out that DesktopX theme, and I think that's a great idea! The delay is definitely smart, since I don't
I think fuson means Evanescence the band, as seen at http://www.evanescence.com/
As many of you already know, JoeUser.com is a site owned by Stardock , a company that makes a product called DesktopX , which is a program for costumizing the desktop with objects. Its closest competition, Konfabulator , does pretty much the same thing, except that it's for the Mac. They're actually not in competition since they're for differe
Is it just me, or are the images broken? I want to see!
It's definetly a step in the right direction. Hopefully, Kazaa will have to go down altogether soon, and piracy will be so annoying to do that only the biggest losers will do it (i.e. when only GNUtella and other crappy P2P services exists).
Shouldn't you know how to create a Bootskin before you upload one?
Didn't the creators of the MP3 format do this as well? There should be like something to prevent this.
I never really cared for Carter, but after reading that, I dislike him even more, for either he knows nothing about the country in which he was President, or he is another bleeding liberal who will make up the most ridiculous exagerations to further his wicked agenda.
I don't know if this would seem deceptive, but what about having the ads say: "Subscribe to WinCustomize for only 84 cents a month!*" Although people will eventually learn that they have to buy 2 year subscriptions, that might put it into perspective on how inexpensive it is.
now Porn banners do and that is why everyone gets so many porn spams in hotmail and stuff and also misleading urls.... See! There is a way to keep WinCustomize free for the commoners! It might even lead some of us to other great sites on the net. <img
Let's face it. Searching for good DesktopX objects is a chore. Most of them are simply pictures that serve the same function as icons, but look half as good. It's hard to find those objects that show just how great DesktopX could be. Certainly there's a way to make the good stuff stand out from the simple icons. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBro
I'm still in the mood for toons.
Well, I could see a subscriber doing something stupid, thinking that because they're a subscriber, they can do much more than the average joe.
There was actually a time when Nintendo said that they would not use discs for their systems, but as the Gamecube proved, things change!
