Cool idea. I hope you don't mind me stealing it from you. I did a fade and reduced it to 100 pixels. I like.
Nice!!!!! The fade lends a

I see. I thought it was a secret Italian mathmatics strategy or something. I was envisioning a disheveled Dr. Gubarci sealed away in a dimly-lit Yale lab with a perky coed assistant and a laptop.
If you don't mind me asking, what is GUBARCI?
In that case, I shall absorb as much of your extensive knowledge as I can and use it to benefit my scores. In a sense, you will be adding to the massive imperial score surplus without having to suffer through the grueling point-grinding process.
Nice score, KP!!!! @SS: Welcome to our empire. Except for me, we're all pretty nice here. I look forward to seeing your extensive knowledge in action on the scoreboard.

I out rank them just like you out rank me but I am active that is difference between them and me. Hmmmm. Seems kind of elitist to give something away to someone who already HAS a computer when there is some needy, under-clocked poor person out there who could have it. I think it should be donated to an AIG exec in the name of the winner as compensation for the unfair treatment they are suffering at the hands of the sensationalist media cabal.

Oh, and I just bumped myself out of 13th place on Friday the 13th. Damn shame it wasn't Win No. 130.
[e digicons][/e] Thanks to KP, I FINALLY broke 100k [e digicons]:omg:[/e] in a YZW. And it only took 131 tries! [e digicons]o_O[/e]

After a hiatus from modding in general, I have decided to finish this, with a couple of changes. I am going to do it for ToA instead of DA, and I will add some little suprises to some of the other AI races' conversations. If I can figure out how to replace the player resopnse "great" with "dipS&#Ts" in the trade screen, I'll do that also. I will test it to make sure it is metaverse-compatible before releasing it. Since Alan Bradley is not present in ToA, the mod will be designed f
Hey, this type-and-paste stuff works OK! You know, of course, that the original Snathi prototype was one of your yoda-species ancestors. Magnus Snarkididae, during the course of fleeing his very irate, jilted Trandoshan lover, got caught in a dark energy stream that propelled him through time and space to this very galaxy. His tiny ship was captured by the Dread Lords, and the rest is genetically altered history. Tha
I think Clanlindsey's idea can work well under certain circumstances. It looks promising if one has Aphrodesiac, and wants to build ships on new planets to snatch adjacent planets. On each new planet, build a fertility clinic, a starport, and repeat.
Oops, did I stray into the wrong empire's page? How careless. Well, at least the diminuative green one does not say "hello", and then start talking like Yoda in pink font. "not like taco bell, their homemade style is". If she ever got THAT idea in her head, your suffering, twice as bad, it would be. Fortunately, I'm only going to hover the mouse over the Post Reply butto
Yeah, I've been itching to submit my 700k game, and start another.
I just noticed that I'm about 25k short of 3 Million total points for the three characters combined. Sure would have been sweet to break that barrier and announce it in post No. 3000. Maybe I'll hold it in until Post 3333 comes up. Oops, scratch that, it's 250k. That would have been a BUNCH of YZWs considering the score depreciation. I don't feel so bad now.
Groan! Grumble! Snark! I could've posted 10 more YZWs today. When's the infernal machine going to work again? Well, at least I made some progress on Kang's latest long game.
700k on a Huge map
Nice! I'm still trying to get 700K on an immense map. Truly an accomplishment worthy of the highest level of recognition!
I had a minor race try to invade me once. It was startling. I've also seen them colonize once or twice. I guess the AI gets confused sometimes.
ry clearing out your game xml's from your Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar\Metaverse folder.
Thanks!!! It worked!!! Now, for some observations on the differences between YZWs in 1.50 vx 2.01: 1) 2.01 has MUCH better planets. High-end tiles seemed few and far between in 1.50. 2) I got much better trade results in 1.50. The AI is downright stingy in 2.01 by comparison. However, 1.50 does not have the handy auto-barter feature which tells one the max amount
