I should crank some more YZWs for my main character. I need the glory of that 250 icon. Plus, I awoke in a cold sweat at 0300 with an Idea for a certain trade good purchase that may help boost my individual game scores.

We also need an MV filter that will flag games which use this exploit WITHOUT flagging legitimate games by mistake. I'll PM Kryo with an idea I came up with. Edit: I think that the point has been made that this needs to be fixed, and ASAP. Now, in the interest of the Galciv community, and the MV, I hereby officially move that this en

Bad, Bad Squirrell! I am going to try to set a new personal record for the ownershup of "home" planets. I think that I can do this by wiping out 7 of the 8 minor races ASAP, then pick off the new ones as soon as they appear. I hope to eventually end up with 7 Major Race homeworlds, 7 of the original Minor Race homeworlds (I always let 1 of them live), and 6 new homeworlds for a total of 20. It probably won't add much to the score,

However, since your post got nuked, I'm not going to mention what it is. Not today, anyway. Not at all if the devs give us an idea when we are going to get the update in which the exploit will get fixed. And, NOOOOO, I DO NOT use the exploit in any games I post on the metaverse.

Too bad my ex's sleazy divorce laywer didn't know about her inflammable "talent". She gave him a special "bonus" in the janitor's closet in the courthouse. I understand that the reconstructive surgery made several medical journals. Poor bastard still faints at the sight of an open flame.....

Incidentally, it also does this with Hot Springs. I reloaded an early version of the game above, bypassed Tides all together, and bought Hot Springs from the Torians after I >thought For my style of play, which involves gaining 200+ planets via trade at Treaty Time in ToA, there are a couple of suggestio

When you guys fix the Planetary Governor bug that causes crashes when using more than one governor, please fix this also: I had the governor set to build 5 stock markets after building several other items. I got Tides of Cleansing from the Torians, and the governor started filling up all my planets (to which the governor had already been assigned) with Tides, and nothing else. I already had 2 Healing Pools per planet, so the error may be related to upgrading these. In th
My new trick: I needed to spend 400k BCs/week due to an extended econ boom, so I loaded a massive hull with reinforced hull points. 50k BCs per ship made it easy to spend down below 20k, and there were no added ship maintenance costs. But those ships don't contribute to your military rating...
I rush bought so many Rangers that were loaded with BHGs and ZPAs, that my weelky ship maintenance was getting extreme.
Congratulations to all warriors of the Kzinti Empire....our domain has expanded to over 34 million light-years!
As soon as it hits 34,700,000 I am going to reset Tex Neckerson and go for the big scores. My goal will be to make up the 700k in one game. I could have reeled in 700 in the last game, but I got impatient. 516 isn't anything to complain about, of course. I could not have done it without heeding the sage advice regarding the 20k rule and high taxe rates. Thanks
war-swindle/extortion point.
My War Profiteering scuttles that strategy for me. As soon as I get the Evil races to attack everyone else, their military really takes off. I make up for it by building Cultural Exchange Centers, Fertility Clinics, and dual Intensive Farms on every planet. My the end of Year 3, I own about 80% of the real estate. This time around, I jacked the tax rate, spent like crazy, and managed to amass a 600+ military rating by the end of Year 3. I ju

Snork! Hey, I've found a great swindle refinement! Negotiate until you get the "not crucial to our civ, but It'll cost you" line, then start up a 2nd negotiation right away. I usually get a whole string of techs that I can trade, like the starbase fortification line, and Clean Up before I let the poor AI have some peace. I trade one tech at a time, and never get the "useless preceding techs" line.
Snarkotamus, I had a dream last night that you submitted a 16 million point game, hehe. Got anything like that in the works?
I wish. Maybe 500K. I'm switching to "Pond Scum" for the next game to see what Ethics techs I can buy. The Drath tech tree has zero-zilch-nada ethics perks. I had a really disturbing Valentines avatar that I was going to inflict on the Empire. If they get the Flash 10 issue resolved by the 14th, I may still be able to post it.
I'm not sure why you want to keep your approval at 80% indefinitely.
I thought that it would improve the score. If that is not the case, then I'm cranking the tax rates! I can always buy 5 or 6 monster warships per turn.
It would help the econ score more if you upped your tax rate
I could up the rate to 44%, still maintain 80% approval (I have almost 9 Trillion Citizens), and rake in about 160K BCs (160 TCs) per turn with the production slider at zero. I have been over the 20K limit for a very long time. Would it help the econ score to stay under 20K BCs until the end of
