This is bugging me also. I got here by searching for a post by TheMasterBaron since I couldn't think of another way of getting to this forum
You can click the "Read More" link on the dream homepage

I also, on occasion, had my smilies not download and get the broken image icon instead. Doesn't happen very often, but it's happened.
Is there a link to get to this forum from the main wincustomize forum ?
Lately I've been getting more and more requests for the video file of my dream instead of the dream file. When I first started, I had no problem with this, but now, I have many more dreams, and thus, have more requests. Sure, I can take the time to upload all my dreams as videos to some file sharing site, but then once I send someone the link, it potentially becomes available to the whole world for download without giving me credit. As I invest more time into this hobby of m
A few years back I did some music using Dance eJay . They have been laying in my mp3 collection for a few years now, and I thought, what the heck, why not upload them for anyone who likes to listen to music from a nerd. Screwed Debugger <a href="http://home.comcast.net/~
I've created a [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=2200&libid=65"]Login Studio Skin[/link] and my first [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=35859&libid=8"]wallpaper[/link] submission for this dream while waiting for it to render.
A diamond is harder to find when it's in a pile of dirt.
I'm reworking the blue nebula and trying to see if I can squeeze it into to a 4 minute video and still keep the 1172x1120. I'm hoping that it will be ready in no more that a week.
I'm just wondering, what do you use for the wavy bits?
Not sure what you mean? I took this video while orbiting the planet last Christmas Eve. Got a great deal on tickets from my buddy Zorgfsdtgs.
For my composition in After Effects, I use 1792x1120 square pixels. For the FPS, I use 25 for slow moving dreams, and 30 for fast ones. Never use your encoder to change the FPS! After Effects has a "Pixel Motion" "Frame Blending" mode that will do a much better job at adjusting frame rate than an encoder. Just enable it on the layers and the composition. I then render an uncompressed AVI. For TMPGEnc, I use 1792x1120 at first. If I can't get a reasonable file size and good quality
I'm at work right now, but I'll post the results here when I gather up all the info tonight.
The idea is that this would be a great place to live if every night you could look up at the night sky and see a blue light show.
Frankly, I would have made up a story about the floating hand, something dealing with the hand of the creator!
Nice! I'll remember that the next time I screw up a screenshot.
Thought I would give everyone a preview of my next Master Skin. The planet spins while the blue nebula whips around the planet. I've always been a big fan of the blue background and this fits the bill nicely. It also makes a nice wallpaper :) UPDATED 2/26/08: I've updated the image and animated preview to the latest render. The preview is only a partial render so it doesn't loop. I've also created a Login Stud
I've been thinking of doing a video tutorial to show how to make a simple video loop using Movie Maker.
I don't recall the exact thread, but I've seen a discussion about peoples attitudes when it comes to the software and content on the internet. "How dare you release a free product that doesn't work on my PC!" Perhaps if all beta software has a submit problem button plastered on the main window. That way users could just click it and it would automatically collect system details and submit it. It could even have a comment text box and an optional Stardock login. With Vista, a program
Can't wait to see it!
Tools of the Dream Trade Over the past year I've gotten many inquiries about what tools I use to make my dreams. So I've finally decided to write something describing how I ended up using the tools I do and hopefully help others get started making there own creations. The first dreams I did were done using HD video found on the internet that I simply looped. Under Water i
I'd love to see it posted here.
Damn, more typing and less creating :SNIFF!:
TheMasterBaron, which program you use to make a animated wallpaper?
I think I need to write a blog on this :) I use Adobe After Effects, 3ds Max, and Apophysis/flam3 to create my dreams.
Very exciting to see an upturn in submission! These are very good picks!
Color is much better! The tree on the far left is odd somehow. I think all the palms should have curved trunks. How is this going to animate?
Damn, too slow to post!
