I havent seen this talked about so im here now, to beg the devs to fix a little something. It seems that when I'm between turns and I'm checking all the GNN notifications a planet of an AI may flip to me. This is good, I like it. However, when it happens while I'm on a screen showing one of my planets, the 2 get kinda merged together. I'll see the name of one planet on top with its improvements, but I'll see the tile for the other planet. It gets confusing and difficult to tell my planet what t

But the overall winner in DA has to be the Manufacturing Capital - it gives a 25% bonus to one world, while every single planet you have can be cruising along with a Quantum Power Plant yielding a 100% bonus. Well you can have the manufacturing capital AND the Quantum Power plant on the same planet. Much as you can have the Research Coordination Center on the same planet as your techgnological capital. Also, in the lastest vesions of the game,

"Wonderland" thats funny. i think i had a precusor mine ONCE on my capital and i scread up my economy to where i just killed that game at the very beginning. that was a while ago. But that is some planet there, cool screen shot, the devs should maybe wonder too why the manufacturinf capital wasnt built there. Maybe theres a good reason.

I dont think it needs to be complicated, we can just have an option on the dialog / trade scren that says "please move you ships or else" and if that player wants to have better relations and not get a diplomatic hit then it says yes and its shios are moved to the border. i hate to say this cause it irritaes me too BUT kinda like on Civ 2.

I think i go for almost all of them, especially since they are available ate differt times. There are a bunch that i almost never go after, achievments that is. depends on the game. Lately the AI has been declaring war on me early so i havent gotten around to many trade routes so the galactic privateer doesnt get built. The AI doesnt seem to want it either. I do go after every trade good though. As far as techs, boy, i dunno, i cant say there are any that i don't want. i mean they all

The one thing I'm having the hardest time with is keeping my people's morale above 50%... I haven't researched ANY of the diplomatic related techs... been staying "evil" for the most part... dunno if that's part of my problem er not.. Just to let you know. You should research the moral techs not the diplomacy techs to get that 50% higher. An if you're near the beginning of the game and need money, higher taxes and 50% is ok. Lastly, it seemed

So doing this without morale buildings you shoot for the minimum approval rating? 40% Basically what i do now is have one farm, eventually fully upgraded for a population of 13B and the have only one moral building. With resources and trade goods my mrale rating is usually like 70-80 +/-. I used to see the idea that you needed 2 moral buildings per farm.

I've seen many posts prior to this about the Peackeeps behaving that way. Its nothing new from what i can tell. Luckily I have never gotten that event but i still think it should be fixed.

Can some one direct me to, or just inform me about the strategy where no moral buildings are ever built. I read it once but can't find it now. basically i think its that taxes are kept lower to keep moral high enough and that frees up at least an extra tile per planet. Does this really make you more money that building the building and raising taxes? Does that extra tile have to be an economy building for this to work? Thanks

the right of passsage is not intended to make all ships go slower. it is intended to help secure your "borders" which i guess is going to coincide with your influence range. or maybe it can just be a range from individual planets. i think that may work better. how far? i dunno! maybe they multipley for planets near eachother. But that vast empty regions should go to no one. a few people have asked for this in past threads, more to stop the AI from litering your space with their ships. s

It hasnt actually happened to me. And i'm not really sure what the problem is. Yes i know it puts the plaer in a tough spot, but thats the game, you make your decision based on your strategy. What i mean is, that i dont know what kind of information from the AI a player might expect. It makes its own decisions and we have to deal with them. Making those treaties is sometimes a heavy decision to make. Sorry but i like this stuff.

Will the right-of-passage effects just be for ships with weapons? Will a freighter take forever to get across the galaxy? And if my survey ship gets zapped through a wormhole will it ever be able to make it back, at 1 pc/turn it'll be practially out of the game since it'll never get to another anomoly. I guess the resturant of etenity (if it still exists in the game) will be HUGE.

in DA you also have the miner. But a tech tree would't be really possible, first the game doesnt have a ship for every new tech, it kinda skips a bit. If you tried to have a ship for each combination of weapon, defence, sensor, engine, miniturization, it would be endless. I thought that when you click on a ship tech, lioke a weapon ofr hull zize tou will see ship names ans the additional techs you'd need to build them.

'social debt repayment centers' Thats is good. I swear thats what im going to start calling my offive here at work. Slave Center? I'm living it! Im just hoping someone whill show up and shd some light on all this. Perhaps alignments will be comletely different. I don't imagine that each race will not only have its own building BUT a different set for each alignment choice. That would be a lot of work. Also, Does the AI always get aroun

Not to go off on a wild tangent of turn this into a non game thread, but evil civilizations don't suffer technologically, small communist ones do. Hitler's Germany was in no way technologically inferior to the allies. Its really about money.

Is it possible that you tried to colonize a Barren planet? That would require the fifth type colonization tech. I dont think you need Extreme Colonization of you traded the others but thats still a possibility.

Im actually expoeriencing that sometimes. I have the latest patch and i went to construct on a resourse only to find that there was a starbase there already. Later it showed up.
