I agree and also asked that I be able to turn the background nebula off, but got no response a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the mod, a0152570. I don't play with mods, though, so can Stardock address this?

Double post. But I still mean it.
How about the Austin location? Ima go by there and give the first Stardock employee I see a big sloppy kiss on the cheek. [e digicons]
Thanks for this, Frogboy! 1. Some easier way to decommission all ships of a class. (eg. click on a C-Surveyor M11 and have an option to decommission all C-Surveyor M11s). 2. A hotkey or easier way to decommission all ships in a fleet or stack of fleets. 3. A hotkey or easier way to obsolete all automatic ship designs. 4. A hotkey or easier way to destroy or overbuild all of a type of structure on a planet. (eg. destroy all labs on
So....no problem. :)
Why? Your logic makes no sense. If you break the game YOU SHOULD BE AS LOUD ABOUT IT AS POSSIBLE so the developers will be motivated to fix it.
My logic is flawless. You should play vanilla races against vanilla races against vanilla races because that's what I prefer.
I disagree with the OP. Starbases should be used to their maximum benefit if someone wants to use them. The idea that you don't want them so everyone should do without is just plain evil. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Bad boy! Anyway, why would I want to stop at 5 starbases per planet? That's fairly simple thinking. Now go back to your corner and think about what you wrote. [e digicons];P[/e]
Quoting marigoldran, reply 2 On larger maps with lots of planets is Ancient better than getting Patriotic or Colonizer? If so I might try it. Theorycrafting: Ancient bonuses don't matter as much until after the colony rush is over. Ancient
It looks interesting. I went ahead and grabbed it and it'll sit in my inventory for a while. I have other games waiting and probably won't be participating in the beta. I'm looking forward to the full release. :)
I'm not sure cleanliness is an integral part of OCD. More like order and I agree that this game would appeal to those who like extreme order. That is, until one invades an AI world and sees the mess it built. Holy crap! [e digicons]:(O[/e] And yes, Starbase spam FTW!
I didn't read the entire thread and only skimmed some of the posts, so forgive me if I'm being redundant. If you want better morale, you can build economic starbases. If the layout is exactly right and you have both range extension techs, you can squeeze up to 9 starbases around a planet. I'm thinking it's possible to get a 10th in the middle there, but I haven't tried yet. I prefer to stack starbases around multiple planets to increase the power
+1 And on a related note, anytime it asks you if you want to do anything with a ship, it should display the ship in question. For instance, I have armed and unarmed survey ships floating about. I keep getting the "Protected by pirates. Do you want to engage?" pop-up. I don't know if I want to because I don't know which ship is engaging.
It's good to see you posting again, heft. It's been too long. I'm rather pleased with GalCiv3 too. Don't be a stranger. :)
LOL! I didn't even realize that those were catagories. They just looked like blue dividers to me. But now that you mention it, yes, there are words in there, whatever they say. +1 Karma to you for bringing this up. [e digicons]k1[/e]
Clicking on the suspiciously happy looking picture doesn´t take me to the deals!
It works for me, but I only see up to 60% off. Maybe the 75% will be later?
Yep, it worked from the GalCiv3 forum. Not sure what's up with Joe User right now.
Thanks for that info, JuniorCrooks. That sounds reasonable and relatively easy to do. If I start getting robocalls on my cell, I'll opt out. (I tried to give you +1 Karma, but I can't seem to on the Joe User Forums. I'll try from a different forum and see if it works.)
Meh. If it's working as designed, I can keep unchecking or unsubscribing as before. I thought it was a bug, so...
I'm automatically auto-subscribed to any reply I make, even though I have that feature deselected in my profile. Evidently, it works for some people as indicated in the following thread... https://forums.galciv3.com/467117/page/1/ Also, if I try to navigate to the Forums Issues area (this area) from the GalCiv3 site, it says "Forums Go Boom". I can navigate here from the GalCiv2 forums tho
No help there. It still subscribes me to the thread. I'll report it in the forum issues area. Reported it, but I had to go to the GalCiv2 forums to do so. I can't get there from the GalCiv3 forums.
Go to your account, select the options tab and uncheck the " Auto subscribe to new posts and replies you create" option.
That doesn't seem to work. Mine has been unchecked for a while and I still have to either uncheck the "subscribe to this post" thingy or go to my subscriptions and unsubscribe each time. I just checked and then unchecked the one in my profile and this will serv
If it's just a port, I already have one from GOG. Dismal graphics, but I don't play 4x for graphics. I'll keep an open mind and hope for the best.
I'm on the beta opt-in, so I've been playing with this for a few days. Nice update. Thanks for all the hard work! :)
I believe that's correct. A class 10 planet didn't show up for me in the tutorial, but it does in the sandbox.
Personally, I now use randomly generated passwords for all new logins I create and I use a different password for every site now.
Yeah, yeah. Next, you're going to tell me to stop using my user name as a password. Or my social security number as my SSID.
