Ending date? Midnight on last day of the month?

If it reaches 451 degrees Fahrenheit, that is bad. But I think it depends on what your running. I would guess a good general temp. to shoot for would be no higher than around 75 degrees Celcius, maximum load. I have heard of others that can run upwards of 90, which sounds crazy to me.
Sorry Gen. Etrius, I haven't updated our uber-banner for Team D, yet. I don't touch a computer over the weekends, thats strictly family time, so I don't see any posts until Monday morning. But rest assured! It will updated soon and I will astound the other teams to such a degree that it borders on total submission even before the next round begins!
Carriers, from my understanding, will never happen. I think the devs don't want them in the game.
Demolish any economy, morale, and starport structures on those worlds you got from the Altarians, then gift them in exchange for peace to the others you aren't ready to go to war against. Nab some extra cash and techs they might throw in and you just did yourself a favor ;p
Did anyone see "Password" last night? Its a new gameshow on TV. Anyhow, one of you has a stray Rosie Clone that escaped because she was one of the "celebrities" last night. I checked my stockade this morning, and all of my clones are accounted for. On a related note, it was humorous watching her play the game. If you know how it works, you have a teammate and you can only saw one word at a time and you have to alternate. So, when trying to get Rosie to guess the word "Police", her
About the best you can do for #1 is to fleet together a large/massive-hulled ship, with a few tiny hulled ships. It doesnt actually "carry" the smaller ships, but you can pretend it does :p And the wormholes only work for ships with a survey module, also.
Sweet update on your scores! Always like coming back from the weekend and seeing good news. And yes, such a shame they took the medals away...even if it was by accident.
What version of DA are you playing? Did you upgrade from the box?
I have the old banner I made for Team C...because they were a bunch of girlie-men. You can use it though.
OooOOoo...Team D has TWO Generals now. Need to update the banner.
Testing...
Hmmm, Team D, eh? And a kitty captain! I have to make a new banner now...MS Paint here I come! Fear my banner. When I make it.
Well if its military techs, I don't know that you can seperate from the military lines. All you can do is "unlock" it at whatever spot on the branch you want it to show up after you research ethics.
Few more pointers: 1. Easiest way to see a planet's influence is to turn on the "spheres of influence" for the mini-map. Thats how you figure out the Yor's super ability, and I'm fairly sure influence works in a similar method. 2. You can also click on your planet, and it will tell you what influence it is exerting, as well as influence exerted on it (in parenthesis). Something like 44(1.5) 3. At least for DL/DA, if you reload a game, or just restar
If I understand what you are asking correctly, you will most likely have to edit the tech tree to make it where you still have to research prerequisites to reach the ethic-specific techs, like psyonic beams. For instance, you add a line extending from Ethics (like Good and Evil), then you add another line after that, so you have to keep researching to unlock whatever it is you want.
Just strummed it on my guitar...its tough to find a beat that it sounds good with though (:(
Nerds get love, too...
I enjoyed a series back in the 90's about some settlers going to another planet. It had Rebekka Gayheart and the butler from the movie Clue. I think it was called Earth 2? Anyhow, I thought it was pretty good.
I also like this one for nerds and geeks...
This thread makes me think of the old game show skit from SNL with Emelio Estavez. I think it was called "Geek, Dweeb, or Spaz". Does anyone else remember that? And that first picture, he's not a nerd, he is clearly a geeky-dweeb. And although he does look a little "Sci-Fi", I think that's just his cover so you can't tell he is a serial murderer...
For the captains drafting: You can also look at the bonus round thread to see who has bonus points awarded for the next round...if that matters to your decisions. Could we update the OP to reflect that? Maybe stick a little +1 or +2 next to the person's name in the draft pool?
SNL's parody (MacGruber) actually got me interested in watching some old MacGuyver shows for the comic value. His mullet and the BS he pulls out his backside make for some good humor. Who the hell wrote that stuff? I think it must have been Mr. Wizard's brother.
I would agree with SanChonino. Spice it up a little bit! You're at war with 5 species. Drop from the UP, try something new! Survive as long as you can and once you can talk to the individual AI's again, beg for peace. Secretly build your military back up inside a cluster of black holes at the Maw Installation, then jump on them for revenge like a fat girl on cake! :d
Futurama un-cancelled!
