The espionage boost for the Iconians is just Stardock's business model for trying to make the Iconians as crappy as possible. One of the races has to suck, why not the Iconians? Its all laid out in the company's financial documents for the investor relations packet. I think one of the designers had an Iconian ex-girlfriend and he isjust pissed off at the whole race now. As for the Drath, they took away the espionage because they are 12 feet tall. I know just last week

No I haven't, does that make a difference? I just click on the shortcut icon the game placed on my desktop screen. I'll give it a try, though.

Does Chinese Water Torture count? Dripping water on your forehead is super annoying...
And my video drivers are up to date, its a 512 Nvidia. Computer is a 2 gig RAM, 3.3 Ghz Intel Celeron, with a 512 KB L2 Cache, whatever that is.
Submission Piznit ToA Krynn 8120 score 3 yrs Very tough map settings as the Krynn on ToA. Recommend anyone try this set-up. Was a fun yet challenging victory.
Thats just not true, I gave you one for having clever things to say after sucking on helium
So, lemme see if I can explain this properly, and if you can solve my dilemma I would really appreciate it. Ok, when I start up GalCiv, doesnt matter if its DL/DA/TA, I always have to do it twice. What happens is this: 1. Click on TA icon, and the "mini-menu" shows up on my desktop. 2. Click on "play", and the screen goes black like it is about to load the main page, but then after a few seconds in minimizes the program to my bar along the bottom.&nbs
The only time I might move sliders to finish a tech in 1 turn is if it is the LAST tech in the line, or the last tech I want in that line. Examples: Spore technology, psi weapons, terraforming, galactic stock exchanges, etc.
Im not sure, Piznit is clearly of Altarian origins!
Its either 4 or 5 percent. If you click on an unowned crystal, the description at the bottom will tell you "adding a SB here will generate X% toward morale" or influence, or whatever crystal resource it is.
I see medals at home on Safari (Mac), but not at work on IE6 or IE7
Krynn, Twilight of Arnor. Focus on economy. Take advantage of innate morale and influence boosts. Keep approval at 100%, research Jihad and the tech afterwards, artifical gravity, space warfare (for recruit center), and a few of the econ techs. Usually have sliders set at 50 social and 50 research. Depends on the planets around me and the number of habitable planets and opponents. You can quickly build the recruit center, consulate, and whatever the name of th
If you already have DL/DA from GalCiv II, pull the trigger and order the digital download of Twilight. It won't cost you all your pounds, so you'll even save some money. Its a fairly large expansion, meaning plenty of new things to try out, hence good replayability.
In the words of the famous Michael "Squints" Palledorous, "The Simpsons will last FOR-EV-VEERR...FOR-EV-VEERRR..." PS. If you don't know who that is, Google "The Sandlot"
Im pretty sure the MCC comment was a joke. Sorta like if everyone was screaming the Thalans are still broken (oh wait, I think they still are), and then someone busts out a "Who are the Thalans?" Anyone remember the movie Weird Science? "Who is this GARY character??" If it wasn't a joke, at least I got a good laugh out of it...

Allow me to answer that for you since you didn't understand what he typed. No. YOu don't need another account. I get my answer from this source as stated in the big thread at the very top which some people call the "OP". Below is a quote from the "OP".
Users are welcomed to discuss matters of any kind over on the JoeUser.com Forums (which, being Stardock owned, will use the same login as here so you can just pop right on over and start posting if you like).
H
Well, you do have mega events turned off, which saves you from the inevitable "turn off mega events" answer. So, with that being said lets move to automated response #2. Reload a previous autosave. Don't like an event because you feel its too powerful or skewed? Reload a previous autosave. Go into options and change the autosave feature to something like 2 or 3 turns. That way when something happens you dont like, you only lose a turn or 2. Also helps if the game c
With all the influence boosts they get now, if any planets DO flip, I figure it would be as the Krynn. I haven't seen any posts about "stacking bonuses" of the new buildings, but maybe the MCC is incompatiable with one of the Krynn's combo buildings?
Go to Globalgamenetwork.com and play it for free. They call it Westward Trail, I think.
Yea, I have found the recruiting centers to be great. All you have to research is galactic warfare, or whatever that early pre-tech to planetary invasion is. Some races, like the Korx and Krynn, get some really cool buildings they can stack with recruiting centers that are fairly cheap, also. It can help a lot with the early money crunch, especially since your starting capital seems to have been dropped to 3000 BC from 5000 BC. Didnt notice that change the first few games ;)
And remember some techs can't be stolen in TA. You might simply have all the techs that are available to be stolen researched already.
One of the tiles is used for the Biosphere/Weather Control? ;)
