Yeah, so as the Altarian's you would need to probably make around 3 evil choices just to get it closer to neutral. If you actually wanted to be evil as that race, you might have to wait until you were given 6 or 7 or more evil choices, or at least wait until its closer to neutral so you only pay 2500, not 10000 or whatever dumb cost it is. Sticking with the gist of moral choices in GalCiv being heavily favored toward evil, if you actually declare evil, you should get money, not pay m

Haha Iraqi Islamic Reconciliation Conference Classic...
If so, that makes them pretty useless Just like real quarterly reports! Give me Year over Year data at least...
Do not waste your time building markets/banks on new worlds right off the bat. First of all, markets increase revenue based on the current population. Adding a market when the population is so low will do nothing but waste your production points. In fact, try not building ANYTHING on a planet that you have already designated as a "cash-cow" planet. Just let the population grow for a few turns. If you don't believe that, try it. Build a market and see if your revenue changes. And don't bot
So if you have a factory on a planet that can produce 8 mp (manufacturing points) a week and your production capacity slider is set to 100% while your military slider is set to 50%, the factory will only make 4 of those mp's a week. This is true, but what also should be pointed out is where the OTHER 50 percent of your sliders are. If you have it at 50% military, and 50% social, you are only going to get 2 MP for each, because military and social "share
Kinda lame though, when there is also a soldiering bonus you can put points in. But I really think the Bravery is only in effect when you have less soldiering skill than your opponent. Meaning it is worthless if you have a higher level than the other person.
IIRC = "if I remember correct"...if I remember correctly.
The only way a negative treasury would lower your score would be if it was a bit longer in duration, it will bring down the "Average BC per month" stat on the economic page of the summary, but even then, I doubt it's much of a penalty.
I did notice a few paragraphs up on that link, theres a line that states putting a farm on a +300 percent farm tile is the same as +3 PQ. Thats not right is it? Adding pop cap doesn't expand more useable tiles like +3 PQ would, does it?
Sometimes when I use mass drivers on a planet I can get 7 or 8 X's all at once, that really helps in my "all-X" strategy... No seriously, thats pretty cool you started one up, good info
Hyperion Shipyard obviously has a little better function in smaller maps, but also on more rare planet settings. If each race only gets 3 or 4 planets during colonization, and you are building transports or constructors, that +1 speed helps a lot. Especially if you can get the gravity accelerators trade good, which gives +1 speed, as well. Personally, excepting RARE conditions, I think the temples of Evil/neutral/good, are totally pointless. Lot of tech to get them, expensive to buil
Delete the customrace.xml files under the Dark Avatar folder. I had to do that as well so it wouldnt flag games to the Metaverse as illegal.
Depends on your race as to the ethical alignment. Arceans picking 4 neutral choices will be neutral. Torians, though, 4 neutral choices might not move the slider enough. When I play a "good" race but want to be neutral, I will choose a few evil choices to really get the slider to move more to the right so I avoid the 2500 BC.
Any starbases with movement influence? Or the planetary improvement that adds ship speed to things built on that planet? I know that building is annoying because you can't stack it with anything else NOT built on that planet otherwise you lose the speed bonus because it can only travel as fast as the slowest ship in the fleet.
Bravery gives you better soldiering when you are the "underdog" I think. Creativity adds a small, random amount of TP each turn to your current research, resulting in sometimes finishing a tech a turn early every once in a while.
Sorry, I wasn't talking about the racial medal that you earn for winning with each race, thats the "Racial Victory" medal. I meant the medal thats actually says "Human" or "Arcean", or whatever your favorite race is.
The racial medals are also buggy, or somehow very exacting to achieve. I have been told you have to have over half your games played as one race, which isn't true, tried that to no avail. Then I saw where it had to be at least 5+ games, which also didn't work. I notice that most people who have one are DL players, it seems harder for a DA player to get one. I dont know if they changed it, or discontinued awarding them between DL and DA, or something else. I see that some people (t
Thats almost right. Remember this: if military slider is 50% and research slider is 50% then what was said is correct. If military slider AND social slider are 50%, then your production for ships will for only 25% of what is shown. Hence the reason people use "all factory", and "all lab" strats and then just focus certain planets on a specific production type. If you have a certain portion of your sliders diverted to military and also to social, then you try to build a ship and a bui
So it really wasn't wiping out the negative balance, just refinancing it as a lease? Thats evil, you should only get that if you DONT choose evil...
Halo 3 is free to play online for the first 32 days. You get a free 48 hour invitation to try it, then when you sign up for the Xbox live gold account, you get another 1 month trial that reverts to the silver level after 1 month. Silver is the "free" one. You can chat, download extra content, etc. but not participate in the games. So the Xbox Live is free, but to play halo3 after 32 days is not
CLoaking device technology rocks...
Yes, there is. You can disable it, like the microphone
Other than being super annoying, at least it looks kinda cool, like rain or comets coming out of the screen at you!
Looks like its fixed now
The SB does increase stats for ships in orbit if its under the influence of the sphere, but I think it gets an additional bonus for just being in orbit as well, but I could be wrong on the second point.
