I love a good entrance! I think that game is better than any of my previous attempts at doing a TA ZYW - somehow I can't find the right combination of tech tree, racial boni and research path...

This being the offtopic forum, which gets cross-posted on ALL Stardock affiliated sites (Sins, GalCiv, possibly Demigod) it would be helpful for your future questions to include the exact game you're talking about. ;)

My game this time is so bad, I won't even comment on it... Character: Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz Race: Krynn Victory: Cultural Time: 5 years Score: 7400 Version: v1.99 Twilight of the Arnor BETA 1 (Twilight of Arnor) Timestamp: 10/14/2008 2:53:51 PM

Somehow, from one boot to the next, ObjectDock doesn't display my system tray anymore. The dock is there, but it's empty. I tried deleting the dock, creating a new tab, etc. but it simply won't display the contents. Two days ago it worked fine, and AFAIK I haven't run any windows updates or similar since then.
I believe the wording is not within the bounds of 'poor wording' and it closer to 'lie'.
'Poor wording' is marketing speak for 'blatant lie'. :P I, too, trust Stardock - but in this case Stardock wasn't the publisher, it was Kalypso. So if you're going to mistrust someone in the future, mistrust Kalypso.

1500 Mb/s would be sitting directly on top of a majour backbone, where the limits would be your local network adapter (common is up to 1000 Mb/s). I think the wording is poorly chosen on the jewel case. However, you never should believe the hype the marketing department prints on those anway. Usually the more enthusiastic the text, the worse the game actually plays. In this case: Marketing couldn't print 'It's the two expansion packs that you were able to buy digitally
I just assumed only the best for each person was being listed, but maybe I should be listed three times under tiny.
Correct, that way more players can get in the highscores -> more incentives to play ZYWs. ;)

Dystopic just successfully ejected Magnumaniac from the gigantic top three! On the other hand, the tiny score list still has huge gaps in it - any takers?

Neilo: Ohhh, that's close. But I guess squeezing out the last hundred points also amounts to a lot of luck. ;) Lugosi: Nice one! Another one like that and you'll have third place for yourself! As for Dark Avatar, it is not a rule. Just that IMO Twilight is slightly more difficult since the tech tree is rearranged.
This is a false positive that various AV apps started up about a few weeks ago. I notified Eset (NOD32) about it, but haven't heard anything back.
Meh. I trusted Avast and promptly uninstalled. Guess I'll have to start over again. I hope they either fix it in Aveyond or let the AVs know about it.

Let's recap. - You haven't played or bought GC2 yet. - You don't even have a computer that can run GC2 (well, bootcamp or parallels, I guess...) Yet you still want a) a port of GC2 to a different OS, when it already has been announced that it won't be ported and that the upcoming 2.0 upgrade will be the last big release of anything GC2 related. b) a multiplayer mode when there are several threads on the fact that it won't be even consider

Just to bring neilos point across: I usually check the newest posts on GC2.com from the long 'recent posts' list. Today, to find the first post in a GC2 forum, I had to scroll past 1 1/2 screens worth of Impulse complaints and cross-site threads. I'm sure if you had to do the same on WinCustomize, you'd complain as well. ;)
New Swabian League
As former resident of Ulm (well known city in Swabia), that faction has my full support! On the other hand, 'New Swabia' is a somewhat ill-chosen name, given the historical background of exactly that name.
