You have German windows, so it is possible that you have a unicode character in your username and that's causing the error. If so, add a user name that is only ascii (no umlauts and no sharp s's)

Then I think a force focus would be the best way to deal with it if they can't fix it a better way.
Potions are good. It's not really that bad a problem, at least it has a quick and easy fix.
The laptop will have a hard time regardless, I'm not sure you'll be able to get a great framerate out of it, but it should be playable as a . The older desktop shouldn't actually work, it doesn't support shader model three, so you may get a lot more out of it if the devs support SM 2
It needs to make a directory to drop the replays in, and it breaks if it hits non-ascii characters.

Renaming and restatting all the existing planet models, as well as those in the Sins Plus mod, which Danman has graciously allowed us to use.
If you don't want to muck about in your registry, try making a new user account with only ascii characters.
2: There is a gulf between the various degrees of mod support. Sins, for example is very good, but has a few glaring shortcomings because of hardcoded things that simply cannot be changed. It's driving me nuts, because to do a proper job on the mod I'm making, I need more armor types than I currently have. I have no way to remedy this. In an ideal game, there would be a way to edit this, but it isn't and it cuts down on the variety of mods that is possible. It would be very good to h
I'd honestly like a fully targetable icon above all demigods with their current health and mana and a team color theme. That would let the scale be considerably more dramatic while still keeping gameplay intact and solving most targeting woes. I'm not sure what to do with regulus, because hiding in the mob not only makes it possible to not be seen, but makes it very hard to target him just because it's hard to click him and that's more nuisance than interesting gameplay. However, I do like th
First off the little minatour guys with the hammers seem to have a fun issue that when I zoom out they run in a different fashion than their hammers so the hammers dance in the air, kinda funny!
good find! could you post a screenshot? I want to see that.
Second I took one of the dark side's mines/portal and my ai rook buddy at lvl 18 went to guard it I guess and then shut off his brain like how people have been having issues with the ai returning to base
I need to ask how many of you guys are planning on getting the first expansion online. Because if they're doing what I think they are, then the additions the first expansion makes should make ramilies star forts and blackstones really easy to do an awesome job on, but if it won't work for most people, then we have problems. So, how many?
I don't know then, but still, to keep in sync, everybody would probably lag along.
You need to get a bit lower, that doesn't show your videocard. Copy all the way to the bottom of the Display Devices section, that can also be essential.
Oh, right, I think demigod puts your monitor's native resolution/desktop resolution at the top to make it easy. Funny how that doesn't always work quite right.
I'm not sure what could be the cause, it generally takes time for somebody with the problem to fix it, and I haven't seen a solution yet. You could try renaming the videos (make sure you remember the name) and see if that works, but the issue is more likely with the menu.
Start -> Run -> dxdiag. hit save all information, and then paste the top bit of the resulting file (until you get to the giant lines in the display devices section should be fine) here.
Yeah, there's a reason I'm playing it instead of full released games. [e digicons][/e] It's quick, fun, and very enjoyable.
You can close it, it just isn't very easy. Still very annoying, but not unexpected given the stage of development.
That explains why mine's been good, my laptop runs really cool.
Frankly, i think people should be FORCED to run an FPS test before playing online. People shouldn't be able to see easily ruin games for others.
Either that or put keeping the game itself running smoothly at highest priority and if the graphics are getting pushed, so be it, it's the person's own fault. I wonder whether the game is already doing this, because it seems preternaturally smooth at lowish framerates (20-30 fps looks as good as 35-40 until you rotate the came
Excellent, glad to see I could help. [e digicons][/e]
I'm currently running a quadro FX 570M, which is essentially the same hardware, just with differently optimized drivers, and I must say I'm getting the smoothest 15-20 fps I've seen in a long time, the animators really earned their keep. Of course, I'm not messing with AA and the rest of my computer is pretty excellent. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 9/12/2008, 11:25:00 Machine name
Same here. I wanted to make bug reports [e classic]:'([/e] . Core 2 Duo T8300 @ 2.4 GHz 3 GB of RAM Quadro FX 570M Driver Version: 7.15.0011.0145 (English) (Just realized this is probably old, it's from 6/25/2007, oh well it works). Vista SP1 (poor, poor, pitiful me) Settings are almost all on high, no AA, can't wait to get on my desktop (8800GT >> FX 570M, and more performance everywhere else).
