Well I never have the problem with FA, which is notorious for causing crashes due to players hitting the virtual address limit in large 4v4s.
That's odd, I'm not sure if there's anything easy to do to test this then.

Most of the problem is that the initial beta doesn't have the depth and the variety of possible builds as it will later when the various abilities are all balanced nicely. I wonder what it will feel like once Regulus isn't an automatic stats and snipe build, for example.
Seeing that mines are buggy, I'd think the catapult was standing near a mine and your hero was trying to shoot the mine. It happens alot with towers.
That makes a lot of sense. Have you had any problems with auto attacking mines?

This is very odd, the cards aren't the same generation, so it probably isn't that (although they are both ati, so it can't be ruled out either). I wonder if your settings are the problem? Try with all effects disabled and then enable them one by one. Maybe that'll work, and it's probably the best thing you can do on your own to try and troubleshoot that.
On my fourth attempt, one of the Rooks on my team went back to the healing crystal early on and remained there for the rest of the game.
I think that's the AI still being a bit buggy, not your computer. I'll catch the AI chilling back there from time to time too. Glad it's working.
Core 2 Duo E6420 @ 2.8 GHz 2 GB DDR2 PC-6400 RAM GeForce 8600 GTS WinXP Pro 32-bit.
Doubt it's your specs, it's got to be something other than that, because that's way more specs than you need. You sir own a very good computer and don't sell it short. That said, something has to be causing the problem, it's just that I'm not sure. Check the bug roundup here and see if there's another thread with any info. <a title=
Sure damage compared to a slowing effect is diffrent, but that they both come out as the same form and its a little rediculous, i.e. the fire and ice rain.
Personally, I enjoy the juxtaposition from an atristic standpoint, but I understand completely. I see it as him having the same powers, but when he uses the power of fire they're expressed differently.
There seems to be less reason to go fire because even though you do more, it isn't tha
Yes, although he had walked over the mine two or three times before. The hit did show a damage count to the mine though, and it didn't actually explode IIRC (i.e., no damage to the rook)
THAT is bizzare. Not only does it not explode, but it can be meleed? Soooooo odd...

No edit. Grrrrrrrrrrr....
stun is only OP if you gangbang
No, it isn't, and that's part of the problem with the rook. Chain a hammer smash to the end of the boulder stun and you've got a nearly dead demi. The rook's the only one who's great at using stun solo, and that's a lot of why he's being called OP. Also, stun becomes insanely good when you gangbang, and it's a major problem. It's one thing when a single gets killed by a pair. It's another w
two rooks would annihilate the two torchbearers
How so? AoE stun hits two rooks, and most of the torchies' attacks are AoE. It'd be quite doable to make the rooks weep blood and die. Just stun them if they try to hammer, and have some potions, and you're good. Have one stay ice and AoE freeze while the other goes all out for damage. I'm pretty sure it's doable, and three torchbearers would absolutely humiliate three rooks. Two stunners to keep the rooks down while they
Well, just wanna update everyone. Bought a Asus Nvidia 9600 GT Top (overclocked) and a new power supply. The game Runs SMOOOTHH... Initially I didnt wanna spend that much but meh, you only Beta test Demigod once!
Better run smooth... That's a really nice card even though I think the 8800 pulls slightly ahead it's not the better price for the buck last time I checked. Fun fact: 9800 GT = 8800GT. Seriously, all the specs are the same, I wonder why the 9800 GT designation
I think an eight player free-for-all (where you can capture all of their stuff, and they yours) with each player arranged in a ring or somesuch woulf be great.
I'd love a 2v2v2v2, where you are all around a ring with no crosses in the middle, and you have to kill your neighbors until you don't have any more. That would be excellent.

I agree, I'd actually go for shrinking everybody but the rook and letting you zoom in farther (IE making the maps bigger and the rook bigger.) That would be cool.
1) the freeze block move iunno if its a glitch or not but it says 2 seconds on units and i assume it means all units cause i used it on AI hero and it dissapeared in less then a second
I think most stuns have half effect against demis.
Adding in Mouse edge scrolling is a must. One of my first instincts was to try to move the screen by edge scrolling. This is a standard feature in most RTSes that I've played.
This. I think there's actually a law against not including it in some countries. [e digicons][/e]
Same here, once every single archer creep on the map were attacking the same mine. But for whatever reason one hit from my Rook took it out... could it be a splash/direct damage issue?
It may have been that the rook triggered it, I'm assuming he meleed it?
