Minimap would be okay, I guess, but it can be distracting and not informative enough. I'd much rather not have it, but if there's an option I won't care.

Right, I wasn't paying attention. Sorry. I guess it's a symptom of French windows, because I haven't heard of it anywhere else and it seems to be a problem making the right directories in the right places.
I have 200 already... so I could buy a graphics card and thats it).
Ouch man, that really sucks. Sorry to hear it, hope you get that computer soon.
yeah, i enjoyed plowing through the side lane to steal the enemies spawns a few times
Tons of fun. I just got back from dinner, and I'll try to confirm it now. EDIT: Yeah, that's where they come for me, making it a temporary feature rather than a bug [e digicons]:P[/e]
Unfortunately I don't know how to make a screenshot in the beta. I've tried the print screen button on my keyboard, (that works in some games) but that doesnt seem to do the trick here.
It works for me in the way that print screen normally does. hit print screen, open your preferred photo editor, make a new image of the same size as your screen resolution, and paste. It should put the screenie right there, then just save it and post it. All in all, that's a very odd bu
Hmm, I'd noticed them coming available early, but I think it was timed differently for me. I'll check this one out and see if my numbers correspond.
That's very odd. Do you have a screenshot?
Hmm, this is odd. Try left-clicking on an enemy anyway and seeing if it's an icon or ability error. Also, what the hell version are you playing with to have a green arrow? I could've sworn it was yellow... *scratches head, knowing that the cursor makes it obvious what's going on*. Try targeting a friendly, too. Other than that I have no idea right now.
That would be a ton of fun, I love the idea. It may be better to do unofficially, though, because there's not nearly as much expectation that mods are perfectly balanced. Also, then there could be a differently balanced stable of demis for this mode considerably more easily.
I'd like there to jsut not be permastunning people.. It's like.. boulder roll, freeze, stun mines.. UGH so annoying.
[e digicons][/e] This is true.
Frozen people should take half damage(but maybe freeze last a bit longer to compensate)
I'd be tempted to go double and shorter for two reasons: 1) Frozen stuff loses flexibility and strength. It's brittile. 2) This makes permastuns considerably harder to pull of, whi
The shared items items should be a unique effect to your Demigod because of how that Demigod plays, and the skills it has (+damage items, +% damage rook skill = more + damage from that item, essentially) not because of artificial things.
Absolutely. The problem we have now is that some items are damn near useless to some demis. They should be usable for all of them, and I agree that it could be easily accomplished without artificiality, which would be good. [quo
Excellent work. Is this the appropriate place to say that I think the game should have an option to pause when the window loses focus in fullscreen mode (as long as you have enough timeouts)?
if the characters are designed to be good or evil by default, maybe make alternate models to reflect which side they're fighting for during non single player mode (LAN or multi).
That would definitely be worthwile, but it could easily be done with a skinjob.
the buildings seem to me copies of the other side with only color change. i think slightly different models for each side would make for a more visually appealing expierence.
They are.
That's a very good idea and would save a lot of time for everybody involved.
i think its strange you buy things with gold in this game. it makes more sense to me the you would earn credit/reputation/worth for killing enemies and you could trade that for goods.
I think the idea is that your'e getting the gold from mines and from the gods giving you a cut of their gambling winnings.
but would make having to run back to the physical location while alive seem odd.
So fix that. Actually having to run back in the middle
[e digicons][/e] That would be excellent.
Generals will have special units unique to them that they can use which is sort of like your first idea, though.
Yeah, general units do obviate the point of unique skins, and in all honesty, I take back what I said about #1, becuase it would only add to the visual chaos.
i like #3.
Problem is all the 'serious' gamers hate randomness (for good reason, how are you supposed to test your abilities w
Hmm, this is very very odd and I think you'll need a dev to help you out. Sorry I couldn't help, but they're probably the only guys with the resources to fix it.
Hmmmm, so it also screws up for XP? That's even odder, because the inane User Account Idiocy didn't get put in till vista. This is definitely something the devs should check out soon.
Perhaps a floaty team icon above there head or something.
Yep, a lot of people in this thread say that something along those lines would be right, and there's a thread in the other subforum where it came up.
I think that there's definitely a bug with french vista that causes that, so that's pretty likely the cause. It seems that it's trying to make the replays folder in the wrong place.
It's not "this skill makes this other skill do better" kind of synergy. It's something that's much more open, a lot more posibilities, and more "natural".
And a lot more awesome and a lot more fun. The game won't feel like it's lived up to its potential until there are a ton of insane combos to pull out of your hat.
Definitely, the problem is most certainly not overwhelming depth at the moment.
Also aren't the buildings already dark/light? Light teams buidlings are light grey-blue, and dark teams are dark grey-red.. aren't they? Or am i imagining things?
Yeah, they're a dyejob of each other, down to the effects. I also say no to different meshes because with the same mesh, the buildings are simultaneously distinct, but are also identical for quick identification.
Until you overwrite all copies of it and update your installation, no. Also, the end of beta 1 is the day beta 2 starts, IIRC.
