The game otherwise runs fine regardless of graphic settings. Everything renders properly, ect. Just has those irritating boxes.

I'm trying to run sins on an older, but I believe still capable computer. The actual game seems to run fine, but I am getting a weird graphics bug both in the menus, cut scenes, and during the game. Screen shot below as an example. It is the same issue both in games and in menu's. The boxes featured seem to flicker. I'm curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this problem. Is it the graphics card not being up to snuff, or a driver issue, or something else? L

Anyone know why I'd be getting an error every time I attempt to post a new thread/topic? I've got a rather serious Sins Graphic issue I can't get help with because I've been getting an error message when trying to post it all day.
Ugh. Pirates.
Sadly I have to inform you all that against my will this will not be continuing. My hard drive suffered catastrophic hardware failure two weeks ago and everything I had on it, from my games, to my music, to my documents was lost . I do eventually have plans for another (similar) story, but as I try and recover from the loses and prepare for midterms it isn't prioritized. Sorry to all who were looking forward to it's continuation.

I had a bunch of things happen in the game, not the least of which was going through and setting all my 100+ worlds tiles in order so they were all in use... and then I had the game crash at 60 months. Well, not crash, but I couldn't save and lost 4 months of progress, about four hours worth of play. And it really discouraged me. I have the scr
I love AARs like this. Great job.
Thanks for the complements guys. I'll try to get a chapter up this weekend, but no promises. I'm buried up to the gills in school work and I've got to get my long term projects finished this week. Honestly I'd intended to document the war more then I did, but the Thalan's were so utterly passive I don't know what all to say about them.
Wasn't there supposed to be a map editor attached to Twilight? How's it work? Anyone have any comments on it and how it works?

I was busy working away on my AAR here https://forums.galciv2.com/326833 when I ran into a serious bug on the forums. Basically, it locked me out of replying further, editing my last post, or doing anything really relating to the thread. Here's an example of what I get when I try to respond or scroll all the way to the bottom of the thread. Things are getting really complicated really fast. Suffice to say war with the Thalan's is imminent. Allowing them to expand any further will result in them winning this game. Their relations with me are going downhill fast. I've got some screenies of the buildup to the war, and a dozen or so things to write up before I start the war though. I'm the big underdog going into the fight as per the stats and graphs, but I do have some advantages. My ships are equipped with the proper weapo
