Don't pity the bones, pity the mindless drones that keep making me reply to this thread because they didn't bother to read the last hundred pages before posting stupidity in ignorance. :( [quote]I was wrong. Some news outlets decided to stop allowing some misinformation on them. That should be applauded. I'm actually happy to be wrong on that one. <div id="ctl00_ctl00__Content__Content__RepeaterReplies_ctl19__ReplyBody" class="tex

His statement is false because of it's overly specific and all encompassing wording, but a more general statement on that topic would have worked quite well, Reddit openly banned skeptic comments from their science forum, as did the BBC and many other media outlets. The Media Research Center put out a study on the big three last year that claimed it had been over four years since ABC or CBS had a skeptics views in a news report, NBC was still under a year at 293 days at the time. Th
I like the matches where kills/deaths stay around 10-15% apart, instead of being an 80/20 blowout... Fewer 4v5's would be nice, but the game is so thrashed right now that most games are a blowout even with a 5v5. :(
It's menopause dude, you're having hot flashes. Glacier growth and ice age theories ain't too bad really, we've got a pretty solid record from the ice cores to say they're coming, but it's not a precipitous change. It's many thousands of years from here to glaciers in Kansas. Unfortunately, the food production will be cut in half long before that, so it's not all roses way before then...
At least it is according to the bullshit artists faking the data. Do just a little bit of research and it becomes painfully obvious that the surface station data is being manipulated and extrapolated to such a degree as to be worthless. Our only record of worth is satellite data, and we've got a whopping 35 years of it. That's only a little more than half of the ~60 year cycle caused by the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation ancient man was capable of
She's basically a ranged Kat, and right now she does half again the damage, interrupt the ult fast, or die horribly. You need hard counters to survive a game against her that includes a good team for keeping her safe. You can easily break 4000 damage on her ultimate, 1200% AD is pretty absurd. It's not Titanic Hydra broken, but it's pretty close.
Countermeasure systems. You've said there wont be shield bubbles, which is fine, but there are no countermeasures for siege weaponry. One of the things that made Supreme Commander great was that attack and defense both had countermeasure capabilities, making extremely powerful long range weaponry balanced by inclusion of said countermeasures. There is no counter to long range bombardment, you simply take it if a tier 3 siege ship starts
I have a Nanoxia DS5 filled with NF-14's. There are quieter fans, but these actually stay quiet for more than a year, I replaced the H110i GT fans with the Noctua's as soon as I installed it, massive difference in sound even if it is moving a little less air, and my CPU stays below 47C at a heavy overclock running Prime95. The two Nanoxia fans that came with the case though are, so far at least, super quiet. They're moving even less air, but damn
She's super hard too, so they'll all suck. :(
Sub par ganks? There are definitely better single target gankers, but she's top shelf for bot lane. You have to flash to avoid dying unless someone pooches their skill shot. They either back up to avoid getting snared, and still get slowed, or they got snared to begin with, in either case, your ultimate dropping in will absolutely ruin a 3v2. Her biggest problem really is people going on tilt because you picked her. I rarely bother with it myself, even though
Copying your install directory and manually editing the registry to make your install function properly depending on the game, isn't something any ol' computer illiterate moron can do themselves. I can't tell you how many times someone has been unable to do so simple a task as to set up a Sins mod, it's beyond a great many people. Your hyperbole on the view of detractors is no less absurd than people equating such a requirement with evil. It
It's still special ed mastery design then, they have to reduce the burn rate for DOT's, changing the duration does nothing.
It's not how you get it, it's how you keep it. I buy a game off GOG, I get an installer I can archive and use without an internet connection. I buy a game off Steam, I have to use Steam to install it. Steam is access control, pure and simple. GoG is not, it's no different than using a CD to install, you have it, therefore you can. Even the least intrusive games on Steam still have that key fail point, and the ones that use Steamworks
Steam is "evil" for various reasons, primarily the "I can't play my game without Steam" complaint. I'm quite adverse to the requirement myself, needing third party, internet connected bullshit to play single player is somewhat irritating. Assuming all things remain the same, all games on GOG will have no such restriction, and can be installed from setup files without having their platform to start with. It's hardly the end of the world to be stuc
Major chug, perhaps mitigated with low enough visual settings, but we're talking major chug. SC2 is over 5 years old now, even at ultra, it's not much of a comparison to current releases that are much less weighty than Ashes.
Based on 533Mhz ram and it being a quad, his board should be one of the earlier LGA 775 chipsets, by the time they started using 2.0, the minimum DDR3 was 800Mhz. It would have to be a non-standard memory configuration that someone filled in with much slower ram than was available. Don't under estimate the load on the CPU either, under DX11, I burn almost 50% CPU at game start, and I'm running a 2500k overclocked to 4.2GHZ, a 980 would eat his system for l
All DOT champs will be horribly broken so long as the mastery stays at all useful on non DOT champs, since they decided to make the per second application just as strong on them.
His problem will be that the mobo/cpu is almost surely PCI-E 1.1, and has a fourth of the throughput of the modern 3.0 lanes. My 680 GTX, which is merely passable for Ashes, can't quite run full bore on an original 16x PCI-E, and the typical game has nothing like the bandwidth usage going on with Ashes. Now, if he's got a PCI-E 2.0 motherboard and CPU(I don't know if they even made any) then he'd probably be golden aside from power issues as long a
I like snakes, I caught a copperhead in a quart mason jar when I was a kid, the family had a heart attack, naturally. Then they drowned my new pet. :(
Time for a new computer, dude. :( A GTX 260 isn't DX11 compliant, I wouldn't expect anything older than a 400 series GTX to behave at all based on them only being DX10 compliant. Even if it were, even two of those is insufficient processing power, and I wouldn't be surprised if you were incapable of running the game well even with a GPU upgrade. Your system is severely dated, the ram is extremely slow by today's standards, you have very littl
Keys aren't simply transferable like that. You wanting to move a game from Steam to GoG is a four party process, and I wouldn't expect two of them to be happy about it, sans money people probably wouldn't be happy about paying. If their cut is 30% for instance, a key transfer is basically the whole shebang, so there isn't any reason a distributor would want to take less than that same 30%, and then you have to convince the original distributor that deleting their e
Considering the platform they released for Skylake, I wouldn't expect it to go beyond four cores. They've pretty majorly shafted it on the chipset side of thing, it's well below the X99's maximum output. I expect you'll have to wait for cannonlake to see a serious entry in the skylake architecture. The enthusiast market is all Haswell/Broadwell refresh for next year, the X99 chipset has all the bells and whistles right now as far as future proofing goes.&
No, you bend over and take it. I block the OS from communicating with the update server if they don't play nice and give me ways to circumvent it otherwise.
Warlords: Battlecry series Counter-strike, pre beta 6 Homeworld Sins of a Solar Empire Heroes of Might and Magic 3 I mainlined Counter-strike for about 17 hours a day at one point, but they kept trashing the system with random spray and made only a couple guns actually accurate even with the first shot. Sins would be the second most played, but only because I sank a few thousand hours into modding it. The top of my list is act
