G'Norlisk: Here is the ballot for this session, councilors. Given the consensus on proposed research, no voting has been called for. Following on the proposal by councilors Noctilucus and TMS2224 to build the Restaurant of Eternity , it is sugge

Sounds good. Not trying to crack the whip, just don't want to get bogged down. Also I'm really anxious to keep playing. This is actually all kinds of fun for me. The slow pace and character building is drawing me into the game. Knowing I can only play out 12 turns makes me take my time with each turn rather than clicking away the years like I've done is so many games. Hope it's enjoyable for the council. Did you want me to post the ba
Well, discussion has been open for almost three full days. Do we limit time in any way to keep the game going? We have three responses, and two more have posted in other topics since the report was posted. With no other response, I'll put together a ballot tomorrow so we can vote and close session over the weekend. Maybe we should have people check in here even if they don't have anything to add. Could help so we're not waiting days for nobody. </p
There it is. I like being able to post at my own pace. A couple things from a planning perspective: UP issues - I can't save in the middle of a vote. The only way for us to bring it before the council would be for me to save game, end turn, see the issue, present it to the council, get the votes, then go back and keep reloading and ending turn until I get the same issue again. I'm willing to do so, but maybe we could limit it to issues that may actually

Alright, the first part of the report is up. By "prolonged interruption" the commander means that I'm going to post the reports as I can, instead of doing it all at once. Since we started using this thread for discussion, it's a lot easier for me to do that without having the report get broken up by commentary. Sooo . . . please wait until I've finished the report before commenting. Thanks!

Alright, the ballot has been up for three full days. Time to close session? I see TMS2224 has checked in on his topic, so maybe he doesn't have a vote either way. Or maybe he's against everything and we have no way of knowing. :P If we close up by tomorrow I'll try to get the report up this weekend, but may get pushed back until early in the week.
The darker green? RIGHT NEXT TO THE VILE ALTARIANS?! We need to encroach on their space to the greatest extent possible and push to the northwest to claim territory. If we can't get the slavelings thinking, then get them working! I want slave pits dug and spaceships built! We won't be cornered in some galactic backwater. Are there any others who share our philosophies? We can look to them for assistance when the time comes, perhaps carve up the gala
Alright, it's starting to hurt looking at this without posting. Sorry, I wasn't intending to be the driving force here and I've been thinking about where to go with it. Am I right in my understanding that we can't put the brighter slavelings to work on research until we master Diabolical Research ? In that case I suggest we work toward that goal first. Gravity Control->Xeno Slavery->Diabolical Research .</
I suppose you could add "Transport Modules as Weapons" to this list. Not sure if it would be a price/space savings, but you could get the UP resolution for transports to get 5 in each weapon category.
I've had an interest in modding these events, too. Have you sorted this out, or is it still an issue for you? From what I can gather here, it seems like a simple misplaced (-) throwing things off. Do you know how to force your event, or are you just playing along and hoping your modded event pops up? That sounds like no kind of fun. As a related question, is there any way to have a choice affect two or more abilities? I wanted to i
Master123wr hasn't been discharged . . . yet. I'll probably drop him from the list if he doesn't check back in by next session. With that, it looks like all 6 active councilors have checked in. Time for ballot making. :D PS - It probably would be nice to at least make a short post sometime after the report is posted. That way we're not waiting around before proceeding.

Ah, a perfect opportunity to use the planning thread. We can currently build Advanced Market Centers , not Trade Centers . That makes quite a bit of difference in the analysis. Some . . . staff members may have misspoken, so let's clear that up. AMCs give +12% econ, have 1bc maint, and will take 7-8 weeks to build if our new worlds focus social. I checked, and it would add 5bcs to spending, so that would mean 35-40 bcs to build.<
I'm thinking that the IC stuff would say in the game thread. Someone following there should see the game as it progresses without need to check here. We should just be mindful to keep the posts as concise as possible. I enjoy the rivalry amongst the councilors, but we should be careful not to fill up a forum page just trading barbs. An example would be my idea about using the bonus tiles on Fortuna to save on lab maintenance. If someone wanted to know more abou
Excellent, no more italics . . . Sorry about the short summary. It took me a really long time to put the report together so I was crunched at the end. The way things stand it's pretty obvious what we should be doing - no huge choices. I also didn't want to push any issues onto the ballot while we are still discussing exactly how it should be laid out. Although I will occasionally need to present the council with choices that must be made, I'm thinking the counc
Wow, five posts. Is it a record or something? Seriously, though, I think I like LordCarlos's suggestion to take our discussion to the planning thread. I renamed it Kushana Initiative Planning and Discussion , and edited the first post here to indicate that all out of character discussion should go there. I didn't post any kind of ballot simply because I didn't want to force the council into voting on anything. We
