The spies cost is based on how many have been produced, not how many you have. Found this out by getting the "spy on every planet in the galaxy" mega event. used up 20+ spies in one turn and making more was rediculous.Scincerely,[email protected]
There's my answer. Thanks.

I'm not talking about using 100 spies on a civlization. I know when they are in place and actually spying they are still my spies. I'm talking about going from a complete total of zero spies, say I had to use them all to beat that event which infests your civilization with spies. Once all my spies are gone well they be cheap again.
Using the Fleet Warp Bubble on the Terran Tech Tree wouldn't it make it feasible to have a large carrier/support ship traveling with tiny spacefighters? They wouldn't be docked but it would give you a nice carrier wing to deploy into battle with a little imagination. Also since you only see 3 ships in a fleet it would look like your carrier and 2 fighters flying escort. When the battle begins the whole wing of ships would launch. This is assuming that your fighters won't have engines added

Buying Spies. Ok I know that the cost of spies increases with each new one you buy but here is my question. If you have about 100 spies the next one should be a little pricey but if I loose ALL my spies, when I start to rebuild will the cost have decreased?

I was refering to the Sol and star AND its planets. Can I make Jupiter, Mercury and other worlds.

Experimenting with some mods so I put together a game set at the level of Beginner to try them out. Been a few game years and I noticed no Mega-Events have occured. This option was enabled, will they not set off if you are below Normal? OH and this is TA beta.
Spying farms before invasion is a good idea, thanks.
This didn't make much sense to me until I thought about the fact that population consists of only true citizens and if you cut off the food supply that would limit how many soldiers that they could assemble and supply for.

Another question with map editor. When choosing a race say the Terrans, do I have to make the Sol system itself on the map or will it generate on its own.

best way to get large amounts of money from a race I found was to kick their a$$ and have them trade for their lives. Did this yesterday with the Yor. Took half their colonies and blockaded their last 5 worlds until they had no military and I destroyed all their mines and trade routes. As condition for their surrender I took their entire treasury which was about 43,000 bc. As an act of mercy I paid off their 4 other enemies which cost me about 6,000 bc. But still quite a haul.

Ok here was the scenario. I never pulled this off because I stopped the game after a new update. I'm the Terrans and the biggest Empire on the Block. The number 2 guy is the Krynn. Now, I don't like a large Jihadist Empire on my border so I want to knock them down a peg or two. But they have allies. Torians, Iconians, and Altarians. The Iconians are nothing so I'm not concerned with them. But the Torians and Altarians are my allies too

Star Wars Expanded Universe had the Sun Crusher that would destroy a star and its planets but it could survive due to its Quantum Armor. So the Terror Star surviving the destruction of the star is not too much of the stretch of the imagination.
