Thanks Lantec, I finally found the page to change the METAR Data. I changed from the default New York to New Port Richey, but in doesn't change in the SysMX skin.???
What is the difference between a gadget and a widget? I see that you can use WidgetManager to download more widgets from WC, but how to install ones you have already downloaded to a folder? If you open the zip file and click on the widget/gadget it runs, correct? Does it install to a program folder (ie: DesktopX\Widgets) or do I just need to unzip all widgets/gadgets to a folder and run them from there? Thanks for any help for this newbie. :NOTSURE:
This is the first time I've used a Sysmetrix skin. I am using Windoe's fine October creation to match Night Train's October WB. I can't find how to chang the weather location on the bar. The weather information page has a description box, but I don't find any other way to enter a location. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would need to change the .ip, .icl and folder name of the copy, right? Then how do I load the copy to IP? I tried changing all the names, having the copy in a temp folder and then doing an install from disk to IP. The new icon package name showed in IP but the icons didn't, either in the main package view or the preview window. What am I doing wrong? I did get the color to change though.

When using Icon Developer to change the color of an icon set does it leave the sets default colors and make a copy to change?

Do you know how to take a screenshot? I'm not sure if you can take one until Windows finishes booting. If you need to know how to do a screenshot let me know. If it doesn't work at log-on then I would suggest going to the skinning forums and asking how they show them.
Another question. Under personal site it asks for title and description to register. What info do they want here? Sorry for my ignorance.
This may sound stupid, but in the account section for avatars, pictures and desktop screenshots, are we suppose to post a screenshot of our favorite that we are using or is that space reserved only for one we have made?
I too am still having these update problems. Launched SDC today but no update for it and it still won't update to the newest WB6 release. Have the same problem with Sound Packager. How can I get the SDC update or Duke, is it possible for you to post the links you were given????

I have downloaded several widgets and gadgets and started installing to the DesktopX widget folder. However during the unzipping process I am getting message boxes from time to time asking if I want to replace certain files. Should I allow or do I need to rename the file(s)? Thanks for any help!
SDC is wierd! CXP is under Misc. along with ObjectDock. It shows both programs need to be installed even though they are already. The ones under Misc. are older than the versions installed. Cursor FX is nowhere to be found. Under Object Desktop WB shows 6.0 but the newest version is installed. Sound Packager is stuck on v1.0 and won't update either. I've tried refresh of XML data but it didn't help
