"The Earthing Movie", is a documentary about grounding. And it's on YouTube, free with ads. I do not agree with every claim that is stated in the video, but, I do think there is something to the idea of grounding, IMO. I do agree with you about the risk of parasites. It wouldn't be safe to walk barefoot just anywhere. But I think walking barefoot on the grass, in the back yard, or at a local park somewhere should be alright, assuming the area hasn't been sprayed with some pesticide or somethi

This is perhaps a little bit off topic, but has anyone heard about grounding, where people walk around on bare feet on grassy fields, which grounds them and has healing possibilities? And can this so called grounding be a very subtle hint that there are forms of energy out there that we may not be aware of? We are electrical beings, our minds and nerves have electrical properties, and dare I say it , yes, I do see a "sort of" Star Trek" future in the far off distance. Perhaps quantum mechanic
Tron Legacy Motorway has a thumbs up from me! Very cool! [e digicons]B)[/e] [e digicons][/e]

In addition to what Basj says, here is a screenshot to help you get started. You may have to tinker and deal with some trial and error to get what you want, but play around with Skinstudio and see what you can do with a edit or mod of that style or theme! The colorful arrow seen below points the way toward the area where you can change or modify the settings. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/3/0/300320/7f99afa0-2de8-4f68-a0bd-ccc213f122e6.jpg" alt="" width="6
With all due respect, just deactivate the programs that will work on Windows 11, and then reinstall and reactivate. There is no need to pay again for those programs that will work on Windows 11. It's not Stardock's fault that Microsoft keeps moving the goalposts which makes some software imcompatible. As an alternative, you could always buy a cheap, used PC with WIndows 10 on it, and keep using the software that is compatible with that system. It is always a good thing to have a backup pc, ju
Are you running Windows 10 or 11? And if so, which version? You can find out with winver.exe by using the "Run" app. Sounds to me like there could be a case of corruption in your deskscapes installation or a possible software conflict with one or more apps elsewhere on your system. Are you using "wallpaper engine" or "Lively wallpaper" or other live wallpaper type software? If so, you may want to consider testing that hypothesis by uninstalling any other similar software. If it is not that, t
Saelwell, I suggest checking out all the postings on this forum in regard to Windowblinds 11. There may be a answer that fits your situation. Also, a purge and reinstall of Windows 11 should help resolve the situation.
Starbase Operations is the wall. I think everyone is ok now. Thanks! [e digicons][/e]
As I uploaded a wallpaper, I made a mistake of choosing a 1920X1080 version to be downloaded by others, when I wanted to choose a 3200X1796 file. Somehow I messed up and chose the wrong file. When I attempted to correct it by edit, and uploaded the correct 3200X1796 file, when I later tested the download button, I got a error message. The preview, a 1920x1080 version works fine. I think I confused the system. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] I just tested it again, and it seems like the
Hi Razor! To the best of my knowledge, to get the look and appearance that you want, one would have to tinker behind the scenes. In other words, one would have to make some color changes in a app or program called, "SkinStudio". There's an area in the software where one can change skin colors. If you feel up to it, you would have to take a current skin, and modify it by changing the color of the explorer ribbon. I am not sure if that is possible. Maybe. You could try. I am far from an e
Arctucas, I am not sure but MAYBE. Just pick a windowblinds skin, go to modify style, then go to transparency. Play around with the transparency. You might be able to get the result that you want. I can't guarantee that you will, though. Windows 10, or Windows 11 are not Windows Vista or 7, so... but you can get close, if not exactly. But this is just only my opinion, perhaps others have a more concrete or more accurate view.
Thanks Jan for the tip. Got Novaweather working now, whew! And, I downloaded a newer, updated version of VClouds, so I am good to go! Yay! [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]B)[/e] [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
Weather on Rainmeter Issue. My NovaweatherAPI And VClouds weather widgets on Rainmeter are no longer working like they were yesterday or this morning. It seems like these weather parts of rainmeter have issues because somebody can't resist changing the standard that everyone follows, which breaks the weather on all the widgets. They used one standard, and then that changed, and that is why most of my weather on Rainmeter won't work, except for the two already mentioned. Did they change the pr
Or.... if my previous post wasn't funny enough, what about this?
Okay, the following may be silly and ridiculous, and a strech, but I will give it a show trial, or a trial balloon........... True story. I was recently impressed to buy a pair of sunglasses. Cocoons are the brand name. They fit quite nicely over my regular pair of eyeglasses. When I slip them on, boom! It's almost like another dimension of sight! Some colors get more intense, and it feels like I've been photoshopped! or is it just a glitch in the matrix? *mic
I recently submitted "Bridge control room" but it only shows up in my wincustomize profile, but not in the public wallpaper list, maybe perhaps because it is rated too low. Also, it doesn't show up in my skins list, so I am unable to delete it. Is there a way to delete it from the profile? I do not see the point in having it around if it is rated too low. Thanks!
Si. Yes! Looks great with some color! Looks great in B/W too!
"Fluidic" would be amazing in turquoise, IMO. [e digicons]B)[/e]
Right now, I'm rocking "Tropicali" by Lightstar. I tweaked the color a little bit, and added some transparency. Wallpaper is a screenshot off of a video from YouTube, and I believe it could very well be somewhere in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. [e digicons]B)[/e]

Paradise in Sunglasses! Something different, a curveball and a changeup from my usual...
This indicates two things. There is more to the file than just a .wba theme. It is actually a combination of different files that are part of the same file. Do you have windowblinds on your system, and is it working correctly with the skins already installed and built in? If so, try double clicking on just the .wba file after extracting all those files with a zip unzip app. Or the download could have been corrupted somehow due to network issues. Report back. Ho
My idea is to try to find out IF and how and why and where there is a possible software conflict, but it looks like you have decided to move on.......
Yep. Si. True that. basj nails it! [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
