Windowblinds and Start11 work together as a team to skin the start menu, not just dialog boxes, windows, buttons, and the taskbar, etc. Perhaps if you GO BACK to the default Windows 11 skin or theme, then you might be able to get back the control over the start menu that you want. If I am mistaken in my understanding, someone else on this forum, or from Stardock, can correct me.

Have you tried this yet? There is a setting in Start 11.... If the start menu theme is anything other than windowblinds, then switch it to windowblinds theme, and see if that makes any difference. If not, hold on, perhaps another poster can give you additional help and insight.

Hi, just realized that a couple of wallpapers that also serve as start menus for the "Drive" Curtains skin, are too small for use on the desktop, being 768x512. So, rather than deleting that skin and resubmitting it, I thought it would be quicker to at least post the better of the two wallpapers, in a screen resolution better suited for the desktop, which is 3072x2048 if I remember corrrectly. Here it is. The other image, you can keep as a start menu item, if you want, but delete it as

IMO, the Windows 7 design is the most elegant, and stylish of all the various versions of Windows. And THAT helps to explain the popularity of skins like Aero 11, Windows Zero, 7 for 10, and so on. However, not everyone agrees with me. Many love the dark, flat look. Not everyone digs aeroglass or transparency as I do. Everyone has their likes and dislikes in regard to design.

Waut3r, it may be possible that a internet glitch may have corrupted your download of Windowblinds, or else there may be a conflict with another piece of software on your system. Assuming that your pc works fine, Windows works fine, and all of your other software works fine, then that would rule out issues with the hard drive, power supply, motherboard, and so on. In the meantime, while you are waiting from a response from Stardock or a moderator here on this forum, I refer you to this post:&

Hey, I have deleted the old cursors that had issues, and have reuploaded the ones that I have fixed and corrected. They should work better and more smoothly. Also, I have made some tweaks here and there. Also, on the Aerodromeda upload, I seem to have a issue with a upload of a screen sample. I see the one that I want, but when I click on it, I see the one I do not want. Weird.

To the best of my knowlege, I have fixed those hot spot issues, and I will reupload those cursor files soon, perhaps on Sunday. Thanks for the help, I figured out what the problem was, and everything works better now. So cool! [e digicons]*_*[/e]

Hi everyone. I have noticed with my CursorFX creations, that there is a issue with the hot spots, and while the cursor works fine in some ways, in other ways, it is tricky to position the cursor correctly in order to make a change, like on the CursorFX settings area, when you want to change the size or color of a cursor. If anyone wants to help me reset and fix the hot spots, I would most certainly appreciate it. And a special thank you to Pelaird for letting me know of this

Hmmm. I wonder if this can be fixed in the shadow tab settings? Any chance that you may have tinkered around with those settings? Perhaps not, try a reset on all settings and see if that helps! Also, you may want to check any and all settings for the default windows pointer.

I have scaling at 125% same as before the windows update. After doing a reset on all 3 tabs, and resetting the windows pointer size to it's lowest setting, everything looks great now! Thanks! [e digicons]B)[/e]

For some reason, my cursors are now flickering, and are not as sharp as there were. Even when sized as small or at normal sizes. Something is wrong, and why? Everything was working fine up to now. Could this be related to a recent windows update I did? Perhaps not. Anyway, I am puzzled. I am using CursorFX 4.03. Windows 10, 22H2 version 19045. 64 bit. Thanks!

This may be helpful. I am enclosing a link to a similar issue posting. Someone could not install Deskscapes 10. If you still have issues, reply back and perhaps someone else can assist you from Stardock or Wincustomize. https://forums.stardock.com/501362/cant-install-deskscape

The update is done. I am now running Windows 10 22H2, and everything is working fine, as before. So far I don't notice much of a change, other than having news and interests on the taskbar. That and Edge is different, and Edge is not as nice looking as before, but oh well. I wasn't even using the old Edge very much. I tend to go back and forth between Vivaldi and Brave. Thanks, DrJBHL for your input. The update was long overdue!

Perhaps. Thing is, I like the transparency, the fluent design of the old "Edge" browser. I don't use the new Edge that is based on Chrome. I have a rotation of various browsers, Firefox, Brave and Vivaldi, and to a lesser extent, Pale Moon. And Epic is another. Would be nice to have the weather on the taskbar though. Part of me is a little concerned because in the past I have updated, and got hit with the pinwheel of death that I was afraid was going to brick one of my laptops that I don't re
