While I have both Windowblinds and Curtains installed, let me just point out that before running one of various Curtains skins, If I am on Windowblinds, I go back to the Windows 10 default theme, and then switch to a Curtains skin, or the reverse, switch from a Curtains skin to the default Windows 10 theme, and then pick one of various Windowblinds skins. Checking the task manager shows me now that apparently neither app are running, though there is a windowblinds service running. I am on the

What is causing this? in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

For some reason, my taskbar is not fully skinned. I am currently running "Vision" by neone6, and it's messed up. Taskbar does the same thing after switching back to the default theme, and then using Curtains. Really weird. As you can see, part of the taskbar is skinned, and part of it is NOT. Makes me wonder what happened to cause this? I downloaded and installed Pale Moon, a web browser and a fork of Mozilla and perhaps Firefox. Would that have caused the issue? Cursor don't show in CursorFX WinCustomize Forums

Hi. I created a new cursor, installed it, but it doesn't show up in the gallery of various Cursorfx skins, such as "Glitch" by Vampy, or "Ion" by neone6, and I can't apply it. I know it is in the themes folder under Stardock, and under the Users, then public folder. Anyway, I am on Win10, version 1903, 64 bit. CursorFx version 4.03. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just purchased CursorFX, and when I click on download, nothing happens! If I click get it now, I'll just get charged AGAIN. Using the Brave browser 1.57.57 Chromium 116 64 bit Win 10 64bit, version 1903. What now?

Is there a web browser that is easily skinned without tweaks? in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Just wondering if there is a web browser that can accept being reskinned by Windowblinds and Curtains easily, and without having to tinker or mod or adjust any settings, etc. Chrome, Edge, and Firefox don't make it easy, and I understand that Chrome has removed all possibility of doing this. Perhaps a unknown, and little used browser? I doubt that Brave and Vivaldi will allow their browsers to be skinned. Thanks!

It's not that big of a deal to me, but I couldn't help noticing that all the master skins that cost money have disappeared. What happened? I hope I am not stepping on any toes, but I must admit to some curiosity, since it's something I did not expect.

Possible Permission in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I have created 2 skins or blinds, which so far are based on "Diamond". I have made some changes, recolored some images, and made some changes or tweaks. I am hesitant to upload them without asking permission. It is not my wish to cause any trouble or discomfort. It may be that permission is not possible. And that is ok. Hi. I am making some headway towards finishing my first Windowblinds skin, but I have run into some problem issues, all of my own creating. Also, due to my inexperience in using SkinStudio. The big two are issues with the taskbar, which doesn't look smooth, but disjointed, it looks like pieces that were put together, and it just doesn't look right. Unfortunately, that feature is hidden and not easily found on paint.net or it simply isn't there. In the past, I played around with GIMP, but I wasn't able to feel comfortable with it, like I am with paint.net. I might have to reconsider that idea, and give GIMP another try. It did occur to me that perhaps part of the problem is having two copies of the same file in the same place, the original, as well as a modified one. How do I check for a export setting? Here's a screen: First, I edit the image. I skip the "build high dpi image" button. The next button says import, which brings up a import file dialog box, where I choose the file to import into Skinstudio. Is that where I am making a mistake?

Here is what is currently on my desktop! The wall is "Biosphere" by neone6. I just tweaked and modified it to make the crystal or glass features stand out more. It also matches up better with certain dark skins, which I prefer to use at night, along with the night light app. Have a great day!
