Yes, you are allowed by the license to install SINS on two PC's you own.

1. Get IMPULSE, Stardock's new distribution system: [link="http://www.impulsedriven.com/Impulse_Setup_Full.exe"]IMPULSE[/link] 2. Install IMPULSE (install it as admin if you have a "limited" user account) 3. Once IMPULSE is installed and opened, click the blue ORB at the upper-left and select "show pre-release versions" (if you want to get the BETA of SINS v1.1) and under PREFERENCES >> CONNECTION make sure use "new download mechanism" is selected. Kaijura, Has been covered [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/319195"]here[/link]. ;)
Pandolfo, Beta Feedback, belongs in the [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/forum/440"]Beta Feedback[/link] forum. ;) By the way, had you cared to look at the "Beta Feedback" forum you would have noticed the "carrier bug" was reported by P5yy the day the Beta was released! ;p
Kinusu, Someone else stated you're probably under-powering your rig with only a 500W psu, I'd like to say that I agree with that statement. However, more important that the total wattage of one's psu is the reliable power it can deliver to each independant component. Many case-included-psu's are terrible at doing that. All it takes is a slight "dip" in the power provided and "hard-freeze, re-boot, etc." Just something to look at. the Monk
Mine has been offline for some time now. Multi's was up since the beta and there really wasn't a need for mine. :) I mainly use mine to provide tech-support..hehe
Have you considered: a weakened/dying PSU, faulty RAM, bad chip on the Mainboard, over-heating Hardware, a bad over-clock etc. ? How about disabling the AV (and all other anti-malware software) while playing the game? ...just a few suggestions.
I have to admit that I had no idea what DotA was until one of my teenage sons explained it to me a few months ago. :p
This is a known-bug, it was reported on the day the BETA was released. :) It also works with all cruiser-carriers. EDIT: here is the link to the inital bug-report by P5yy: [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/319193"]thread by P5yy[/link]
Disable your AV/anti-malware programs. Just like other "installers", running AV while installing programs OFTEN causes problems. the Monk
Sounds like a dying power-supply or some other hardware (mainboard) failure of some kind. Certainly not game-related. As the DVD spins-up and down during install, it is drawing more power from the psu, if the psu is failing it is entirely possible to experience this type of behaviour. thanks, the Monk
You will need to install IMPULSE (www.impulsedriven.com) SD's new distribution system in order to get the v1.1 BETA (v1.09) and beyond. In-game at the main menu, look at the version number at the bottom-right. thanks, the Monk
#7 Collector's Edition. Technically, the pre-order version of Demigod is the Collector's Edition which will come with extra stuff over the standard retail version.
I only pre-ordered the "digital download". Does this mean it won't be the CE? and if so....how could I change my order? thanks, the Monk
:HOT: Ummm....yeah....enough said!
Might have been because you left your AV/anti-malware software on whilst trying to install. Most installers request that you have your AV software DISABLED during the installation process. Try it. I'm betting it works! :p the Monk
Boneidle, Try again with all of your AV/anti-malware software DISABLED. Tokubashi, "processing" means it's comparing the 800+ files to see which ones need updating......patience, you sound like one of my teenage sons! :p the Monk
...Give me a patch download outside the dam manager, because I hate this thing...
@ Aurellious, Sorry, not going to happen. We are here to help you get it downloaded with IMPULSE though, so what have you all tried? Made sure you've got "show pre-release versions" selected after clicking the blue ORB? Made sure to put a check-mark into use "new download mechanism" under PREFERENCES after clicking the blue ORB? Pos
It has been posted to a multitude of threads already revenger681 Click the blue ORB in the upper-left, and under PREFERENCES select the "new download mechanism". thanks, the Monk
Bksabath, 1. As I replied to you earlier, you could just update to the 1.1 BETA (v1.09) via IMPULSE (download from www.impulsedriven.com). The new BETA has "optional netcode" which tunnels past routers/firewalls (like Hamachi) and doesn't require any port-forwarding etc. 2. If you don't want to use the BETA of 1.1 (v1.09) and would rather stay on version 1.05 then you will need to go back through my guide and see which steps you missed/didn't complete correctly. You could b

Contact and they should be able to send the password to the original e-mail address used to register the game.
Click the blue ORB in the upper-left and select "show pre-release versions"
keep getting disconnected from ironclad online message..... rubbish
Your ISP or the ROUTE your PC is taking to ICO may be rubbish! ;p Try running a "trace" to ICO's IP when that happens to see if there is a "bad hop" between your PC and ICO. eg. uriel, In version 1.1 BETA (v1.09) you do not need to "forward or open" any ports on your router. The reason people are seeing "IP not visible" in the Hosting Test, is because most routers and firewalls block ICMP requests (PING). It's not an issue because as you will see in [link="https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/319195"]this thread[/link] you can ignore said message and host without problems. thanks, the Monk
