I haven't been here in a little while, and I stumbled across another rating, the "Yours" rating, next to the "Average Rating". And apparently, if you're logged on, you can slide your mouse across to rate it I guess. (Haven't tried it yet). *browses my library*. Oh, good. People can't rate their own stuff. I was wondering about that. So, I wonder why this site decided to add this new Rating system? So far, every "Your" rating i've seen is at zer

I don't use backup software. Just good ol' fashioned Cut'n & Pastin' in Windows Explorer. I manually back up Files & Folders to my external hard drive, flash drive, and now my old PC. It's tedious and time-consuming, but I don't trust backup software enough to know whether ALL of my files have really moved or not. I need to see all my files & folders with my own eyes. I don't recommend this method for most people. Even I lose some of
*sees Clearized1's profile* You've already uploaded 3 Logon's in just one day? That's impressive. I upload stuff about every 1-2 months-ish. Sometimes more. Great start! Don't give up. Your journey has just begun...(On WinCustomize)
I almost left the site once. I had lots of stuff then, but I was concerned about other sites using my stuff without permission. (At the time, I thought my stuff was ONLY on WinCustomize, but I was dead wrong.) Later realized that once stuff goes online, it stays online (even after deletion). I Moved on, and still love WinCustomize. As for uploading, you could TRY to make your own graphics instead of using photos. (Requires a bit more talent, but
I'm 5'9" and 130 pounds, so I don't have to worry about losing weight. And on days I work, I probably consume around 3500-4500 calories. (and don't gain a pound!) That's because i'm on my feet all day and constantly burn calories all the time. But besides the point, you could try eating less, or better yet, look at nutrition labels at the grocery store to see what you're REALLY buying. I do this, even though i'm not overweight, because I don't want to be sor
Not owning a computer makes you stupid? I don't think so. I would debate that owning a computer makes you stupid. People do not know how to think for themselves in today's world. For many solving simple things cannot be accomplished unless they have a machine that does it for them. Even schools allow students to bring calculators to class. We then wonder why the cashier cannot give us the correct change when we buy our coffee. Heck some kids c
Is CS any better than say...Elements 9 (the newest version?) or Paint.NET v3.56? If not, then no. Let alone, if it's even compatible with Vista/Se7en. (CS was designed for XP, the newest Windows OS of the time.)
Simply put, NO![e digicons][/e]
I've got Audacity & Malwarebytes on this list. What about WinRAR? It's decompression speed is LIGHTNING FAST (compared to WinZip or Windows' built-in decompressor, plus ".rar" file compatibility) regardless of how big the .zip or .rar (even on my other 6-year-old PC). I highly recommend WinRAR to be added to this list.

You can always daydream while at work [for most jobs, anyways].
Well, my job requires to be on my feet for 10 hours a day, and I like to move REALLY fast. Even to the point of being dangerous around others (in case I bump into them). And as for a job rel
If a job is getting in the way of your gaming then Obviously the JOB NEEDS TO GO!!!!
Hey!!! Knock that off. At least you HAVE a job. Just think how many million Americans would DIE to be in your position because they don't have a job of their own? I don't like my job neither, but at times like that, I think the same thing. But lucky for me, I work 4/10's so it's nice to have an extra day off (except during the holiday season, then I w
I wouldn't recommend darkening inactive windows if you're editing images/photos. Every time you load an effect, the image you're working on will darken. (Accurate Color/Shading Representation means EVERYTHING when it comes to image editing.) I left my inactive Windows to stay "light" (normal). But darkening windows is great if you're doing non-graphical work such as excel spreadsheets, word documents or databases.
For Privacy Reasons, I won't upload pics of my bedroom. However, I am more than happy to show off my hardware setup. (Computer, Monitor, Speakers, and Keyboard/Mouse) I created my own "modified" setup by finding images of them from Google Images, then modified them to my liking. Enjoy! (The proportions may be a bit off scale.) <img src="http://img413.imageshack.us/img413/8876/mycomputersetup2011.jpg" alt="My Computer Setup 2011" width="800"
I'm ready to see some new kick-ass skins! But I won't enter the "contest" though. I've only made one blind in the past (Glassphire) and it took about four months to make.
*gasp* Awesome! Can't wait! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Pros: Awesome Technology! But...how can you control where you want to go? Cons: This product will just give another excuse to laziness and contribute to the ever-increasing obesity epidemic (if it becomes very popular). Let alone, it'll make people (more specific, sedentary) never want to walk again. Can walking honestly become a thing of the past? I don't think so. I'd rather walk to be honest. This "tool" would only be useful af
Worst Case Scenario: If you're forced to upgrade to a new machine that CAN'T run XP* (like mine), install and run Virtual PC. It's not quite the same as having a machine with XP-era hardware, but it can still do almost anyting a "normal" PC could do. It's just that it uses pre-made "software-emulated" hardware in which you can't upgrade. But heck, it's still running full-blown XP. And you can migrate data between the host and virtual PC's. Th
I'm working on a prototype design for my new Glassphire 2 Registry icon. The ".reg" text appears as if it's trapped inside the green box. Also did tons of experimentation with lighting and glowing effects. Worked on it for over three hours tonight, and it's still not finished.
I've recently just "celebrated" my third year anniversary of being a WinCustomize member. (Member since 1/15/2008). See https://forums.wincustomize.com/404065 for more details.
DeskScapes and WindowFX 4 both are resource hog and unproductiveness, got it?! Mate.
It depends on what kind of computer you're using. Is your PC rather old (like a few years or more)? I've got DeskScapes, WindowFX, and WindowBlinds running simultaneously on my new desktop PC (which I bought just 2 months ago), and my CPU Usage is usually below 20%. For those who are curious, my PC has an AMD Phenom II
I agree with what Nimbin said as well. (I Don't feel like "Double Quoting" DrJBHL, it'll look odd.) But yeah. This is EXACTLY why I don't join FaceBook. It's not just because of their security issues, but it's just stupid to exploit yourself like that. But there are many who just don't care. Out of all the years i've used the internet, I have not ONCE ever uploaded a photo of myself. The most i've done is revealed my name and address to Stardock, Adob
I don't know if any of you are in the same boat as me, but after I downloaded "StardockDreamMaker.exe" the first time I ran the executable and my freeware antivirus (IOBit Security 360) says it's a trojan. But when I scanned it with Microsoft Security Essentials, it says that there's nothing wrong with it. Did the same with MalwareBytes AntiMalware and says there's no threats either. And I have a screenshot of IOBit Security 360's threat to prove it. <A href="
Deskscapes? Really? I'm using Deskscapes right now, and I love it! And i'm running a trial of WindowFX 4 as well. I thought something like TweakVista/Tweak7, Keyboard Launchpad, SoundPackager, and/or IconDeveloper would make the list. I don't have any of those programs. Don't really need them. But I love Windowblinds, Deskscapes, Fences, and IconPackager.[e digicons]\o/[/e]
I'm curious about something. Did you just find wallpapers of these shows, and then resized them to fit in your folder template (I assume)? I've done that before, but only for personal use. (And not as professional looking neither.) But good job finding all of those images. It must of took a long time to make over 500 icons. And I found that some of the icons have varying degrees of clarity (some are fuzzy, while others are crisp). *browse
Is that "Rainbow Gloss" thing supposed to be a cassette? Well anyway, i'm not working on anything at the moment.
