Use a specific number for minor races and the game will put them in. You may end up with one in your starting system if the map is small!

Bottom line: No good paying jobs, no money for homes, cars and extras. Just the essentials, food and clothing. All big businesses will collapse without customers. Businesses are no longer willing to pay their employees decent wages (all the money is going to the top execs.). Every employee is just not a worker, BUT also a consumer/customer!!!

If you want to add any custom races to a game that you are playing as a "custom race" you can go into the race file [ Your Race .raceconfigxml ] and edit the race ID number. The game will allow only one of each race in the game, so you will need to decide which race you'd like it to replace and change your race to that ID#. Example: The dreadlords are race ID#13. In this raceconfigxml the custom race ID is #12. Now the Dreadlords are now a custom race and the same i

You do not start with any food techs. Xeno farming is the first tech you can get to upgrade your food production. It will take your planets a while to grow population anyway! So while your waiting, research other things!

I beleive there is an AI issue with them and the Drengin and Korath. These are being corrected in the 2.0 version. The Altarians build only transports, right? The Drengin and Korath won't colonize if other races are too close due to Influence issues. One fix I've found is to change the AI to Krynn in the race setup screen. At least for now they will expand like the Krynn, but still use all their racial benefits! It works, try it!

The thing is, that to do spying right, you're going to have to create a 'game within a game' to capture all the possibilities of spying, espionage and sabotage. I didn’t buy the game for that. So, a few changes to the system will help and lets remember that it’s always your race against the rest of the AI’s. You will
