Yes, Favor and Stats are linked. They can't really have a new Epoch without resetting both. Every time a new version or expansion of WoW comes out, most the items your woked for (for months or years sometimes) are obsoulete; just how games have to work sometimes when dealing with expansions, updates, and patches. And yes, I'm guessing in the next Epoch, they will reset them again most likely.

After reading so many comments about AI replacement, I am convinced: zero gold/xp would not be good. half or 1/3rd would work out better. I've been in a couple games where we did win (after a teammate dropped), "regaurdless" of the AI feeding the team; if you have most the towers down, the AI can actually be a decent distraction for the enemy, and with 50-25% gold/xp per kill, that AI would be far better than no player at all imo.

Well, Germ, you are pretty on track there in that I have a friend that I got to try DG for a couple weeks over here, most everything in your list happened to him (expect you forgot to add "New player is spit-roasted by the gloating winning team in All-Chat, and Noob-bashed by his teammates"). Anyway, he did not get his own DG game, and instead got and plays DoWII now [e digicons]:([/e] Now, they have stacked teams and bashing ect in DoWII too, but their ranking and friend s

I don't get it either Bill; I mean, if they DO get high in ranking, don't they sooner or later have to actually "play" another well ranked player. Seems replays would have really helped this too; I mean, how many replays could this guy have of him having games end this way before something was done. As it is now, you just have to take someones word for it that this kind of thing happened. I never looked at that ranking section before; how embarassing, I've only got a 28% w

I have mixed feelings, being that I just played several hours of DoWII, and it was custom games the entire time (it's usually me allied with my friend 95% of the time). First game, stacked team for sure, but I thought "so I'll lose, but I'll watch the replay and learn". Well, the team not only stacked, they used some kind of exploit to win, and THEN, after all that, did some other exploit so you got no replay of the game (buring the evidence I guess). The ne

Yes 50% or no gold/xp for AI replacements has many supporters. One person suggested a game option (like None, 25%, 50%, Full). As it is now, you see people pretty much just concentrait all attacks/efforts on the AI replacement rather than anything else in the game, since it's a cash cow just waiting to be slaughtered every 2-3 minutes.

I can't wait. I've been putting off playing a lot in anticipation of 1.1. It is SO great that people can now "help" by getting Priests/Angels without getting flammed in game chat now. I was going to start a seperate thread for this, but perhaps this is a better place to put this: I hope after 1.1, people will "reset" their personal ban lists the same way the game is reseting stats and favor, and give everyone a new chance. There was a lot of h

Anyone remember Sins, and the "Pirates or no Pirates" debate. They just added a toggle option: Pirates or Pirates Inactive. I'm guessing they'll do the same in this case, or a "slider" as metioned above: AI replacement gives 100% 75%;50%;25%; No XP & Gold; No AI replacement. But that could take a while, and I think we need a quick fix one way or another, and a basic "standard" for Skimish/Parth (like 50% less). Anything other than an AI replacement that hands the

This idea has been around almost since the 3rd week the game was out. RQ, DCs, walk the dog, (screaming kids/wife), you will always lose a player. AI feeding is the reason people dominoe-RQ after an AI takes over. Reducing or elimiating the gold/xp an AI replacement gives is the simplest way to fix this. It changes the AI from a cash-cow for the other team to an acutal ally that may even help in some situations.

As Sedna, I pouce and retreat continuously. I've kept most tower rooks at bay solo many times. I can't "stop" him, but I slow him down SO much, he usually has to reatreat sooner or later (I can keep healing my tower damage after every pounce, but even with Pots, he still has to retreat sooner or later). If your lucky enough to have TB (or UB with spit), his need to retreat is assured. Getting an ally to help you, even for a minute or two, could send him running.&nbsp

Replays? Well, on Lan, we usually play a game on Lan, and watch the replay 1-3 times; laughing, elbowing, smack talking, seeing things you had no chance seeing while your busy playing. I just assumed replays would be added in 1.1. Guess we'll see. . .

Hey AmIAnnoying, I NEVER thought about quitting when a person on the other team RQs. I think someone did that in a 3v3 game I played last week, but I assumed he got a DC. He was on the winning team; someone on our team RQ, and then he did too a minute later. That was very sportsmanlike of him, but he'll get a RQ in the future, correct?

First let me say, I play WoW as a Priest, and I'm pretty darned good at it if I say so myself. I can keep people healed even through level 80 Heroic dungeons during the most hecktic of battles. But playing Sedna in DG is pretty frusterating. I zoom in and out; rotate the map; ~ till only DG healthbars are showing, but I still find myself healing myself (when I have full health yet) instead of my teammates all the time. Holding down the Ctrl key is an even bigg

Dash is right, but, I like my name PurplePaladin, BUT, I want to use a different name with each type of game (Demigod lends itself to very creative name posiblites). So I wish I could only change my name for Demigod.

Every Heroes of Might & Magic since the first one; both Age of Wonders, so obviously, I'd like to help beta this. How do I make sure I'm in the lotery please? (I have Galactic Civilizations II, DemiGod & Sins). I guess my friend, who has no SD games has no chance to get in (insert boos/hisses)?

The tilde key (to the left of the 1 key) will toggle through a variety of Healthbar displays. I hit it 4 times, which usually makes only demigod healthbars show. Holding down the Ctrl key when you heal will make it so only a demigod gets the heal. It's still hit & miss to make sure you heal your target (and not yourself), but that's the best you can do for now, until further upgrades/patches/mods. . .

That fact that all minions die the second you kill the demigod is a huge "nerfing" in itself. Letting minions stay alive and fight after your DG has been killed would be a useful "buff", and make at least some other type of strategy rather than ONLY attack the demigod.

Usually playing Sedna, there is NO choice: You can put point after point in Yetis, to get a week unit that you need to use most your mana to summon over and over when they die, or you can use points for useful skills and your mana on stuff that keeps you or your teammate alive. . .
