Showing a bug, yes, I forgot about that. In Sins (and DoW2) they have LOTS of movies that helped squash bugs by showing the replay/movie.

The story of Nightrous , the redemed pirate: 3 kids gather around Nightrous with the look of wounded sheep. "Daddy, all the kids at school said you killed the Stardock Easter Bunny and that you burnt all the Stardock daddy's and mommy's with oil at midnight, and now they have to keep going to a proxtolagist

#10, yes, I usualy play healer/catwomen, and I've got some flak from people "why did'nt you heal me?"; I did, it just froze till I moved. That plus they can't see I'm out of mana (or my cat has to use it's giant litter box). People already just quit; you have no idea if it's a DC or a pouting kid who thought "I MAY not win, so buh-bye". At least with a surender button, you know the person "surrenderd", and your opponent know that you "surrendered" too, not that you just chuc

Thanks FB. Everyone does realize the you and SD do more communications in a week, and give FAR more info (and honest info to boot) than most companies do the ENTIRE life of a game. [e digicons][/e] It's just too bad you and SD are going to have to visit the Proxtolagist so much this week. . .

I played a game last night, 3v3, it was about even, then it said 2 people quit. It did not say who; it did not say why (disconnect, unplugged their cable, or just quit cause they want to change the channel on the TV). Then, I had no idea WHO quit, I'm busy trying to watch the other demigods instead of just playing the game. Ya, they need to do something to make quiting MUCH more clear and "doable" if you just want to surrender.

Well, I hope that at least one thing came of this: Those who pirate see that there actions sometimes do really effect others negatively; in this case, lower reveiws, frustrating legitimate paying customers, and, if you have ANY empathy at all, just imagine all the workers at SD losing their vacation (probably the ONLY time they would get off between the years working on this game, and it's post release), and working 12+ hour days to fix the mess. Not to metion their families, who

I play Catwomen , and except for one game, I can't even get someone to reply to my "who wants me to stay near them and heal". And when your speced totaly for support, and nobody communicates, and the UB enemy player decided it's "Dog chases Cat day at the arena", it's a looooong lonely game. But it may not be just them, I don't know if it's just me, but the text only shows up for like a second or two. Unless you happen to be looking upper-

Some here. I usually play "Catwomen" to help heal people if they play Rook. But I can't count the times I click (even with Ctrl held down) and nothing happend. Same with pounce. Sometimes I tell her to move with a right click, and she just stands there. It's very embarrasing to have someone type "Why did'nt you heal me!" when I was right there, had plenty of mana, and still could'nt heal him :(

Replays are so important to a game like this; for learning; for teaching; for watching top players and clan play; and our favorite is to watch it after a Lan game, multiple times usually, cause 60% of the game can't be seen whe your concentraiting on your DemiGod/strategy. Not to mention it's been a standard of most every RTS type game for many years now.

Like I JUST wrote, if YOU don't need a tutorial or campain, congratulations! I'll buy you one of those little plastic golden award cups. Thousands DO. Same with campains, and replays, ect. The reviewers do, and HAVE been taking lots of points off because of what was left out; that's not an assumption, it's a FACT. Before a reveiwer finishes their reveiws, they don't read all the forums, l

A few of you guys are missing the point: I didn't need a tutorial either, I figured it out. That does NOT mean there are'nt thousands of people out there the DO, You don't tell any customer buying any type of product (even a toaster) YOU figure it out! You can call them dumb, stupid, whatever you want, but they still NEED a tutorial. If just adding a simple tutorial makes new players go from frustrated and giving up on the game to leaarning, enjoying and

I can't wait for replays. I'm still shocked a MP intensive game like this was released without it. We had the most epic game last night. Tried to watch it using the work around, and it would not go past about 3 mins of the game. Sigh/frown. But I'm sure MP online is SD's major focus right now. No use getting the game to play replays if people can't connect to MAKE the game reply in the first place.

I have it; played about a dozen games so far, but only able to get 2 going on online MP. Lan works flawlessly for us (and we only needed one copy of the game). Like Sins, there is no campain. Unlike Sins, there are no game replays [e digicons]8C[/e] . I hear online is geting better, perhaps so, since it only took me 30 mins to get into my last game, but 30 mins IS a pretty long time when a game can last 30 mins. The core game itself gets a 9 from me;

First, I give the Lan gameplay a 9, and I can't imagine how good it will be with future patches. But it's a lot of little things added together that are causing lower reviews. I didn't need a turorial (although I like them) and figured out the game slowly. My friends do need one (and I mean they really NEED them). And I would just tell them to read the rulebook, but it was pretty darn skimpy too. Campains/Story lin

Well, 45% of the time I get "Join attempt failed". 45% of the time it says "Attempting to join game" and it sits there, and never connects. Twice I have been able to connect, and both games played through smooth to the end both times. I have never been able to connect to Parthanon or a quick skirmish, it just sits there forever, the text disaprears usually after a while. I can play DoW2, WoW, CoH, and Surpreme Commander just fine. And I don't know if this

I SO wish I could show you a replay of my game today. 4v4, our tower was 90% dead (enemy was untouched). I was playing Oak and dending the citadel. Just being a good sport until we lost. I had almost 10k saved up (WAS going to by Armor of the Gods), so I click on our citidel, and upgrade the health/healing of our buidings (twice I think, I just kept clicking). The tower starts to slooooowly heal itself; just a tiny bit faster than they can damage it. And be

I found out my best friend was gay many years ago. He's a sheriff; a huge hairy musclebuilder (I'm embarassed to say, if you saw us both together, you'd proably pick me as the gay one). He's pretty tolerant about gay jokes/humor, but, he refuses to play online games because of the constant "that's gay" or "fag/homo" comments people use to insult anything negative. I never even thought about it way back then (before he told me), but it's almost the year 2010, and you sti

Some of this is seen if you look closely at the Keybinds area, but many do not know they even exist, or exactly what they do: You can play DG via Lan with one copy. It was easy to install, and worked flawlessly. It's what, I'm guessing, online MP will be when it gets fixed. You can use the "tilde" or "`" button (to the left of the "1" key on most keyboards) to toggle healthbars; above demigods; above minions or both. This is especially helpful if your us

I"ve never been to Meta, do they allow voters to change/alerter their vote? Or are negative votes cast in stone? I have to admit, after reading the reveiws, I would not have gotten this game; but I got it as a BD gift, and I'm glad I did. But I also agree with some of the reviews that DG seems to be a one-trick pony; but at least it's a pretty good pony. . .

Everyone knows about the "Adjust Speed" setting in the options menu, right? Just go in before the game starts, set it to "adjust speed" and you have a scale of 20+ settings to put the speed on (use - &+). I used speed -10 to let my friends learn the game; -3 seems to be their speed of choice for gameplay. I like -1. For the OP, he could use +3 - +5 with people; a comprimise of speeds. But I too dislike "whack a mole" gameing; at a bit slowe

Yes, Lan play redemed this game for me. It's GREAT fun. And it was easy; no hassles. Three games so far, all went smooth with no dysinks or bugs. Sadly (shockingly) no replays, so you better enjoy the game "while" it's happening, cause you can't watch the movie to see "what happened" during play. Tip: Use the "Adjust Speed" option before you start a game, and then you can use the - & + keys to slow the game to a crawl when you need to tool-tip all the s

So, you've all read it before: People on these forums (and others) boasting their pirates, and giving all the reasons they do so. But once again, the've screwed all the honest people, and may have cost DG lots of sales due to some bad reviews (CAUSED by the pirates). This sounds SO much like what happened to Titan quest; it was released early; pirates swarm it; getting on forums and complaining it did not work (Warz versions were set to dump to windows when you go
