I had some of the same issues with the AI over using the Novaliths. Yes, you can counter them with a Starbase and Aux govt. but it does get old after a while hearing the same comment over and over as they fire that thing at you. I would prefer an option to disable super Weapons, if possible.

I know, I had my ass kicked by this same type of scenario recently.
OK, nice. I did look into the Known issues of Yarlens and did not set this listed there. Maybe it should be. Thanks guys,
I agree, stop trying to Nerf it and stop trying to keep people who want to build it fast. Its equal across the board, if one player can do it. then so can the other players. Its not unbalanced. to me, having a Titan early will keep those who like mass building frigates and trying to rush you. The Titan is the great equalizer. and I like it this way. Again, this is a matter of choice for each player. you either decide to build the Titan or you don't. Sto

[quote who="felikey" reply="1" id="3103053"]I agree that the pirates and rebels showing up automatically is a problem. Numerous times the approach I've taken is to suicide them in an enemy system, which, due to the pirate abilities, is actually very useful for gaining more credits. Yet sometimes they're more effective than I mean them to be and they don't actually die. Having a toggle switch, perhaps on the main screen, to turn this on and off, would be very very helpful. <br

I haven't seen anything really posted on this yet. so here it is. I have played several games now against the AI with friends and after taking removing all Alien influence from a world by destroying his structures and the planet pop. the Culture is not detracting from the world. its staying constant. This even happens when you have a fleet of Cap-ships in the gravity well which is supposed to remove the Alien influance, this also causes you to not be able to take over

[quote who="NeoOnyx" reply="3" id="3101003"] Quoting boshimi336, reply 2 I have a suspicion (unconfirmed) that Titans originally were larger as the Titan Foundry seems disproportionately larger compared to the Titans being built. Larger ships end up having very difficult path finding issues more often the bigger they get. I think in general the sizing isn't too bad. I agree...the Titan Foundry would need to be resized. [quote who="Yottsu" reply="2" id="3100390"] 1. what I think would be a cool feature: -specialise the titans to their faction's play-style ie make the loyalist titan stronger in friendly territory and make the rebel titan stronger in enemy territory. The loyalist titan does get a boost to one of its abilities while inside of a friendly gravity well - Furious Defenses. Do not forget, the two factions also get to research some faction specific techs as well. For example

Ill add that the Pirates can be naturalized pretty quickly and not by using a Titan. Build a Novalith Cannon and blast the Pirate Base. no more threat. Pirates naturalized. And I have seen this done first hand so yes it is possible.
