I'd put £50 here and now on Viisari having used those emulator tools to run a downloaded game, who's willing to take my bet?

Spreading the human plague in to another planets eco system would not be an achievement. (Written with my tongue half in my cheek.....and half not if I'm honest)
You are comparing 1 skill on 1 Demigod to 1 skill on another Demigod, your statistics are meaningless. Having played both Sedna and QoT and doing quite well with both I don't think Sedna is much better than QoT. I think Sedna can become more out of control than QoT though if she is fed a lot.
I've never had any DRM issues in my history of gaming since the ZX Spectrum 48k. I used to get a little annoyed every time I had to get the paper wheel out of the box to match up Monkey heads with idols and stuff just to play the game.
I can't buy this game on Impulse as I discovered tonight as I live in the UK.
Well, there is some pretty good gear from the Abyss PvP with unique stats (reduced damage from players, increased damage to players), but all the PvP is using the Abyss Point system so regardless of what kind of PvP you do you can eventually get it. AFAIK, the blue and gold gear needs silver and gold medals that you get from sieging the Balaur castles in lower and upper Abyss (lower give silver, upper give gold). But in essence, there's just one PvP reward system, and a few ways to pla
Last time I played Tropico 2 it hard locked and permenantly froze a bunch of pixels on my LCD. I've been too cowardly to try that again. [e digicons]:'([/e]
There is no way in hell a game can be held responsible for your LCD screwing up.
What version of software are you using?
The ESRB is an industry voluntary organisation that helps the industry avoid government intervention. "Sticking it to the man!" in this case is counter productive, if you deliberately undermine the ESRB you risk laws coming in to place that are more than likely harsher to video game enthusiasts so rage against the machine isn't going to help anyone. Censorship is often unnecessary, age regulation is probably a very go
Nicholas Cage usually makes good movies
You lost me there.
I was going to mention that Annatar. Lots of people have mentioned it plays out very similar to WoW but it's the new stuff that intrigues me, the World PvP looks like a fantastic idea. Plus I wont miss WoW's elitest Arena game that rewards overpowered combos with the best gear in the game!
Does the Pantheon stats not list your custom game history to get peoples names from?
I think you are misinterpreting slightly, although I can't read the linked thread from here. There was some 'mature' language used in some of the original unit responses but I believe it was changed just to get the right ESRB rating. Also there were ideas about having bodies floating amongst the wreckage of destroyed ships but I'm not sure they ever went passed ideas.
The beta's GameGuard didn't give me any issues with Daemon Tools and Steam running.
Stop talking sense Annatar11 ffs! This is DRM we are talking about! Splitter!
A great idea and a great list. Random events is something I've been requesting since they started talking about the first expansion. Let's hope we see more love for the single player gamers (majority) such as additions such as this as an OPTION and not just pandering to the vocal MP crowd.
I hate being right in this case. https://forums.stardock.com/351282/get;2199871
This is great news and I almost missed it! I'll definately be preordering and playing the beta.
I'm not saying DG is likely to be full of silly holes like that, I'm just saying a P2P system isn't inherantly secure just because it's P2P.
You somehow got the same point I was making accross, thanks.
Shrug, LoL is coming out and it looks great, doubt the 2 new demigods will keep me here
That's awesome, say hi to ChaosNaska for me or whatever his retarded name was [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
Spooky you are making rediculous assumptions. Hate to break it to you but Creep666 just proved your assumptions are wrong with his screen shots, in the build he was playing anyway. My post was meant to show where it is possible that if the developers haven't specifically coded in protection, that works, there could be a vulnerability, according to your post the developers are infalable and "of course such data is checked"! Peer to peer doe
pea roast :(
Well in theory this sort of thing should only be possible with a mod (which everyone muse have installed) or through exploiting a bug in the game.
Well no, that's wrong. The point I was trying to make in my original post is that just because something is peer to peer doesn't mean it's imune to hacking. If I attack you and on my machine I do 1,000,000 damage and on your screen I do 250 damage it will cause a desynch cause on mine your dead, on yours you're
So what happens if player A buys an item on his game that he couldn't actually afford with hacks. Does player B, C and D actually check that player A can buy that item when his client tells each of them he just has?
No-name studios is not a bad thing.... i mean how many of you had heard of Bungie before Halo? Even studios that have made games before can be pretty much no-names yet they can easily make good games. EA on the other hand is well known... and makes bad games (not allways, just exageratting (sp?)).
You bring a tear to my eye man! Bungie was massive before Halo, originally big with Marathon, but not that big, it blew people out of the water with the Myth series, O
Looks like it could be great. I never get too hyped about movies coming out unless it's something like Sin City or 300 where I can see they have been faithful to the source material. Unknown new stories cannot be judged from trailers, I'll wait for the critics/publics reactions, ie. after all the fake imdb reviews.
