Amazing how people get offended by a faceless person on the internet offending their anonymous faceless forum name. Anyways, it is possible to download and patch on one PC and then transfer to another PC by memory card but to extract the archive I believe you need Impulse installed on the destination PC.

Well as Vasari the best counter you have to illum spam is the Evacuator. Get the egg and start pumping points in to Nano-Dissasembler. Micro this ability to hit each Illum, target a fresh one that has full shield and hull, if he doesn't heal it it's already dead. Do this every time the CD is up. Carriers are tier 4 for Vasari so get Assailents out early, if he is rushing you get a repair bay up on the planets you will be fighting, it will give you the edge. Ass

The reason they mandate it for GfW is like galatei says, it's because it's per user. If your brother logs in on his own account he will have his own save games and user settings (for sake of example). Makes sense really but when I got this PC I knew this happened so I made my own files directory under My Documents called ' Paul' and then I use that as the root of My Documents.

I'm Gallente, I'm currently in an Incursus, I've been going for the recommended certificates (after getting 4 in basic and 3 in advanced of each learning skill). I've got Basic Hybrid Turrets, Basic Armor Tanking and I've nearly done Core Competancy Basic. I could use any help I can get to be honest, most things are still going way over my head. No idea why mission offers are set to expire or what a level 1 or 2 mission is. I'm just enjoying the tutorial stuff still

I can't check the download link you have posted but I checked all the methods of buying Eve very recently and although you can download the Eve client for free and get a 14/21 day trial (depending where you go) you still have to upgrade a trial account to a full acount for $19.99, I'm not sure if that includes a free month though. Firstly if AI is involved: LOCKED TEAMS The diplomacy is being worked on for expansion 2, until then it doesn't add any fun to the game. Regarding imbalances, as far as I'm concerned this game is as balanced as I could possibly hope for and if you read differently you are getting quite a false impression.

I'm ok with how the races are not completely diverse. In a setting where it's possible for Alliances and trade to be struck up between different factions it's non sensicle to imagine they wouldn't be borrowing/reverse engineering each others technologies to some extent and therefore watering the differences down tactically and technologically.
