Wow you guys must be having a hard time of it. There is the fuction of flt attack range i.e. grav well, close, and hold position. That close option is your friend. Mines: Are a minor delaying tactic at most. TEC: Their mines have a good feel I think. Their expensive so hard to spam to the point of it being it's own game. I wish they were place by a minelayer ship that ran a auto pattern. That way TEC could mine the outer wells of a planets, stars, and non-colonizables. 1. Ok, For you peeps that just haven't figured it out yet. Everything can shoot mines. If you make a balanced flt with scouts as part of the balance. Mine fields are just a delaying tactic. Which is as it should be. No you just can't tear into a grav well with wreckless abandon. It might require you to think (OMG) and prepare a proper attack. The mines in addition to the starbases w/ defensive structures makes your flank and rear less exploitable not unexploitable. Grow up look at the situation

The Entrenchment beta has only been out a few days. It's MP implications are as yet to be fully realized. With Sins theres a learning curve. "Ne che vo" It can't be helped. Peeps are still learning how to counter mines. Fight starbases and what all the new goodies in the research tree do. I don't think it's a memory thing, because I'm showing over 1600 mbs of free physical memory. Though I still uped my power supply and optimized everything for gaming. The only firewall I have up is windows. No malware or spyware active. I don't use alloy. Thanks Monk for the networking class. If their is anyting more that can be done on my end. Let me know. Doesn't seem to be race specific. I have tried all the races. I've let it sit and run for 10 mins. I still dumps. I have some save files from the 10 min games. If you want em. I've ran out of thing I know how to do to try to make it work. As I have updated widows and all drivers. [e digicons]:grin:[/e] So any assistance in this area would be stellar.

OK, did uninstall reinstall to no avail. Then i started updating drivers to no avail. I have had very few mini dump issues in the past. Yes, I used impluse to update my video drivers. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. As yet to make it longer than 10 mins. I sent in my mini dump files. [e digicons]

Info I've been able to gather: 1.Doesn't seem to be a race specific 2.Occurs whether I play or let it sit. 3.Always happens at around 10 mins 4.Having updated drivers no change 5.Version of game is 1.1.2 prior to entrenchment update 6.If I rush to starbases it dumps the sec a starbase is built. Rather than at ten mins. (Ty Positiv) For most, after some testing. I think if you lower just the building settings one notch you run ok.
