"The aliens get to retire. Why not us?" Hey, that would be an awesome little thing to add! Games never have this realistic option and people are just letting go instead. Guess it should be put as an option only in certain situations, our civ at least getting the advantage of having less damage... Besides, the inverse of your system may have a little effect also. Let's look at Louis XIV tht got so strong by absolutism. What happened? Even if the weakest and nearest were going ally, o

I didn't played the game yet but just one comment. Many games tend to forget that they are diplomatic specialists, politicians. Thus, they will react correspondingly. I already saw a diplomatic lawyer's manners, and it's pretty characteristic. Very social, etc etc. Politic guys always keep a good image, always sympatic, would react correspondingly to the relation he wants with the other, with tact....

Well it could make people join together by having a turn/day, or less if the turns take more time. Something like that. It is like that Earth 2025 works and they have thousands of players...

Please understand that I do not wander on these forums all day since a decade... And I thought that Galactic Civilization II or however you name it, was something like a multiplayer implementation. Sorry for beeing wrong if I am. :notsure:

I wondered if, in a future GalCiv's MP, you ever thought of permitting something like a person having a server or something and which could permit to have worlds with something like tens (hundreds?) of players. A little like Ultima Online that can be played on someone's computer.

Jack, who cares what it looks like if it can bring a news in GameSpot or else. But if people are believing it wouldn't help, then too bad... Some companies name themselves stuff like "Non-sense software" and stuff like that and it just made a few people look what they were up to. Their names look silly? So what if the product is awesome... If it would work, you don't think it'd help? If no one answers this or is interested if we are enough (3 yet, 4th coming), I wont be silly and hit in

The 57 cents is just to be silly and bring people to see on www.galciv.com how crazy can be people paying 57 cents be. I wonder if we'd get a publicity for 2 minutes on GameSpot if we all sent them 57 cents lol That's even better ;p But if you participate, no need to pay 57 cents :D Make a bus tour with some friends and "GalCiv rulez" on you, take... something... as long as it's all done same day. And for the banana, well it's an inside joke from Apolyton... Banana = bogus.<b

Besides, this forum has a login problem it seems. I was logging in and it didn't gave my the window to post message, constantly bringing me back to login and pass when asking to post. I succeeded to post when I came back on GalCiv.com for something else and for odd reasons it seemed correctly connected. I also know someone that tryed to subscribe and always got "This nick is taken".

I started this on Apolyton at http://www.apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=75091 but it doesn't seem to create what I'd have wanted, so maybe some here will get in. "Pre Scriptum: Make a reply if you change your mind or know someone that'd be in. If you wanna support this, make it take expansion by fansites, friends or else. Let's make gaming history. Who around here is willing to give his body to GalCiv for a day? If we would be enough (20 or more???) to make
