Let ask you this. If a strategy game only has 1 good stratergy to win witch is to outspam you enemy then how can that game because a strategy game if their is only 1 strategy. To me it's more of a game like build a hord and attake when you fell you're horde is bigger then the enemies. I for one see no strategy at all in this, as stratergy to me implies using cunning and deception to out witt your opponent.
If you loved TA you should try supreme comander. It's based prior to the TA series and quite fun.

MindsEye your gettign way off course. The balance was almost perfect before and they were just 2 problems. Flak was to inefective againts strike-craft that it wasnt very reliable. And flak has gotten that boot via a range increase and the all banks firering. The second was that people only built fighters because if you had enought of them you could take out anything. Bronken indeed. I'm hanggin up my Sins carer till it gets back on track. And the dev should roll back the nerf ont he carriers. IT should fix most fo the issues. And game will be fun to play again at least.

Between the M16 and AL47 i would chose one of the other depending ont he type of situation. AK-47: Street and urban combat zones for short to medium time duration M16: Every other situation.
Nah all that need to be done si remove or reduce to 25% the build penalty on carriers.
Lol yeah epople who just didn't want to pickt he strongest race because it was the strongest kept playing the otehr races. But it was an advent game. And turning into it again. The balance we had before the carrier was the best balance the game had even had. The current change is a clear step back in the wrong direction.
Still in the end this game is turning back to what it wa sins 1.5. An advent only game.

Well Flak are fine. Just need to undo the rebuild penalty on carriers and you'll be fine. When i saw the pena;ty my first reaction was wow their insane, and it was an insane penalty.
For TEC their is almost nothing you can do ecept have a force atleast 3 times the size but even then it'S not very likely youll win. And even a Marza will not be able to help. They need to undo the carrier nerf. Game was much better then then it is now. At least you could counter and murder carrier spamers.
