Trust me GoaFan. When i say unsinable ships I mean it. To make it fair we were usign destroyers navigating only at BB speeds and would massaker BBs. The damage control was insane. Also each ships had sweet spots. Hitting them was easy but even then ships would go ona dn take barely any damage. IT realy was that bad. In the end my air power was fighters only just so my team mates don't have to worry about bombers, but it's not like it mattered.
Well I am weary of it a bit. The first oen was fun looked greta and had everything goign for it. Except when ti came to the balance of air power vs sea power. After 1 month online me and my buddies figured outt he damage control system on the ships and virtualy mad eout ship unsinkable. You could torpedo 1 ship 50 times in a battle and it wouldnt go down. Also air craft carriers were the slowest unit and easy pray to enemy ships. And shortly after the MP communaty died because of that and tha
I have it its a great game and had great replayabilaty. Also their is a large modding communaty making all sourts of funa nd exciting mods. Some ever write whole new stories and scripts.
If true AMEN that mega suck treat me as a prirate compagnie si feeling the squeze. Hope it falls thought the floor. Hmm that link doesnt work.
Err.... so wrong. Having the radiance in the fleet does not add anything to either the radiance nor the fleet. it will however limit the radiance mobility as everytime you issue orders to your fleet, the radiance will veer off trying to follow that order, most likely ruining that perfect lineup it just did to cb the crap outa things. Theres no need to do anything "very quickly". &nb

Guess I will finally have to get down to business and create a Sins fansite so I can use some of this stuff!
Yeah I know how you feel, I picked a banner I liked and then went into my control pannel to create a signature for my self with it in it. But sadly their is no signature option at all. [e
Cast Malice when the Radiance is lining up????? Simpel assaing PRogen to call sing 1 by selecting it alone and hit: ctrl + 1 Assing your radiance to cal sing 2 by selecting it alone and hit: ctrl + 2 Booth ships can be inside your fleet is matters not. MOve the randiance into the proper position to hit the most ships preferable. Tell it to attake 1 target do not lose sight fot he target. Best to keep you mouse cursor over said target since you dot need to move it
Can assign personal hot keys to both your caps using: "ctrl + #" It wont show up but after when you hit the assing number you will select teh ship it is assing to. Peice of cake.
2 words to help. HOT KEYS.
Seriously i am glad that the devs don't read every single things that people post and take it to heart because if they did we would have a worthless game here. Leaving certain things and abilities powerful give each race its drawbacks and advantages. If everything was equal and nothing was powerful we would have three fledgling races that just looked different, now is that what you really want. Obviously, you have been bashed by a bunch
Also I woudl point out that the Marza doesn't deal 3000 dmg flat. The damage is mitigated. And it doesnt take long to mitigation to reach high lvls. So some math 3000 / 100 x 57 = 1710 (basic rule of 3) But you dont get 57% you still take a few wave a lower mitgating. So damage recived is more like 2000 max. Now if for your illuminator you buy the 2 teir of sheilds you get +20 sheild hp and regen. Also if you get the teir 1 hull upgrade you get 10% more hull hp and reg
Transitive: at the moment i'm leaning on target cap in the neighborhood of 24 ships (still a large number, would be the biggest AoE in the game) and the delivery being changed from 20 waves of 150 to 10 waves of 200. this would actually increase its DPS but lower its "scales to infinity" absurdity. Lol taking out the 24 ship cap this is a boost. Means certain death to frigates that get hit by it. The limit of 24 is bust because hittign big ships is not what youwant to hit. Dol
If you truly want to help rebalance the Marza I would do it as such. Wave damage from 150 to 100 Number of waves from 20 to 30 Keep 1.25 seconds inbetween each wave. So the duration goes from 25 seconds to 37.5 This keeps the abilitys power while at the same allowing for the reciver to react to it better. You get a full 12.5 seconds more to do soemthing about it. IF after that you still can't counter it then Look int he mirrow to find the cause instead of blaming the
I don't think it's simply a matter of reaction. As I've said about missile barrage (and about starfall in Warcraft III, a conceptually identicle ability) don't use it if it's just going to get interrupted. You control when it gets activated, not your enemy, and because of that you can ensure it happens at a time when countering it is not a simple matter of point and click with a radiance (or other equivalent). We cannot dismi
Anyways, here's my opinion on what should be done to the Marza's missile barrage: salvos: reduce to 8 from 20 (1200 from 3000 damage) cooldown time: 90 seconds from 240 Much less powerful, but can be used much less often. This makes it harder to counter because it could recharge before the battle is done, but at the same time less dangerous if you cannot counter it. Keeps it
LOL AT YOU SERIOUSLY. Here are 4 easy ways as advent that you could have used to avoid this pitiful senario. 1) build a Radiance or Revelation and get the ability Detonate Anti-matter or Reverie. Both fo those would ahve interrumpted the barage and svae yoru ships if your paying attention to it. 2) Simply run your fleet away the instant you see the marza use barage. You can actuly run most if not all frigates int eh game outside of the Marza's range before they blow up. They'l
Oh. Indeed. Sorry guys but it wasn't convincing at all. for 3 reasons. 1) It's not a news article. 2) It's posted in the wrong forum 3) I thought it was a random user that posted this first sicne the message looks nothing like and official announcement. 4) I've grown over the years to expect this on april fools.
I support transitive here. In the future if flak truely becomes overpowered they are 2 chnages that can be made to resolve it. 1) reduce the carriers build rate penealty form 75% to 50% (so that illum/flak spams cannot live on their own) 2) Reduce Anti-verylight vs medium armor from 0.5 to .25 (This will only help to strengten the role of LFs as flak counters) Other then then that I don't see any chnages that could be done that wouldnt renerf it
If carriers are starting to not me worth it is because they over nerfed it. But so far I have no trouble thining out sufficiently the LRMs to kill the flak.
Well your right on one point knowing what happens with equal fleet suply is nice and usefull. How ever their isn't ever going to be and have been a battle situtation were while you are in combat your ar enot replacing you loses. If your enemy isn't replacing his loses it's either because he has no income to replace them or your fleet is so much mroe powerfull then his that it's all but hopeless. Witch if is the case you don't need to refocus yoru resorces on you developing your econ further s
Well just to tell you I don't fleet supply points as a calculator for force equivalence. For in a battle they do not represent the true cost of feilding said unit and from testing they balance very badly from unit to unit in most cases. As beign said if 20 kodiacs 200 supply were supposed to be equal to 40 Cobalts also 200 supply point the battle should be near a dead draw. Instead I use a unit's total potential credit cost. Tot hat that si very simple. Multiply the Metal and Crysal c
Im curently testign ti flak vs light frigates. Ligth frigates are winning hand down each time. Even with micro or both or only 1 side. We were testing primaraly if moving the flak arround in circles back and forth throught the formation had any impact on the otehr come fo the battle VS a static fight were everyone just focused fired on
