What's pathetic is that the games with the "cool names" are probably (lol) comp stomps! You gotta love it when people think they're cool, making "cool" player names and game names and then bravely take on the AI.

There are some replays that have been posted, but you'll have to dig them up. I recommend playing it in single player or in comp stomps for your first couple weeks because you'll get frustrated if you try to play it against real people online. (There are some guys out there, like me, who have been playing it in online PvP since 2008.)

I wouldn't call it "pushed out the door". They released it in a less-than-perfected state, but it's not like it was in alpha stage condition. For an example of "pushed out the door" (in time for the Christmas season) see the complete failure that was Unreal Tournament III.

I'm on Win XP SP3 32 bit. If you want to give it a try on your rig, here's a link to my maps: http://tinyurl.com/sins15 (Of course, I'd be happy to receive an email with the updated maps [e digicons]:D[/e] )

Thanks for releasing the new version, Harpo. It can find my maps, but when I click on "Fix Found Galaxies" I get "Run Time Error '9', Subscript Out of Range". Also, I do have both Rebellion and Trinity installed, but I don't see those two extra buttons. Could it be that my version of Trinity was not installed via Steam but by Impulse?
Please, all that would do is make the game more boring. At least this is exciting because each time you have to keep thinking of new strategies to deal with what the map generator gave you. As soon as custom maps become the normal, all that will happen is one or two viable strategies are found for each position, and if you don't do them you lose, and you know what your enemy will do before you even scout. Sound fun?[

I understand learning adaptability but also from a 5v5 standpoint you could get a team cohesion going is a balanced map.
The problem is that custom maps will not auto-download. It's possible to play them, but it requires effort on the part of players to obtain the maps and install them. Even downloading and running an effortless auto-install p
Still, to be honest, I feel like most of the potential of this great game has been wasted.
It's hard to understand what "wasted potential" is without having been a hardcore fan of the original Unreal Tournament (1999). It was an amazing game for online multiplayer whose sequels paled in comparison because of consolization, especially the abomination that was UT3.

It makes sense that the AI would be less challenging in Rebellion because it now has to deal with titans and

Based on the amount of activity in this thread, I have a funny feeling that the the Seven Suns idea fizzled out.
And when you want a thread about the AI, forget it. It must instead be derailed into an advertisement for multiplayer while at the same time insulting anyone who dares derive enjoyment from the single player. Next time someone posts a thread about for example a Vasari unit or ability not working as they believe is intended, Sanchez should just come by and tell them the solution is to play Advent. It's just as relevant and h
No, it isn't. And what a moronic attempt at a metaphorical comparison. He isn't complaining about his bicycle not offering the benefits of a car. He is complaining that the bicycle is now broken in some way (which it wasn't before in Diplomacy apparently), and would like it fixed. The only thing your response does "proper and perfectly" is make you a smart ass, bordering on complete asshole. To use your
