I've seen, over the years, that a lot of people modify thier desktop and then show it off in the screenshots section. Then, I see 47 emails of people requesting some skin they modified or skin they made to go with it. Just a friendly reminder, that if you don't own the original skin, do not send to friends or people you don't know. That is the same as uploading a skin without permission. Un upload is an upload. Yes, that's all it is. Just another hack job. It's just StylesXP with a logon loader and bootskin. *For those who want to know* I was browsing the TSS2000.NL website, because they have a good icon or two, every once in a while and I came across this on the front page.

Copperdeck2 wall and Mormegil Icons. Is this site a rip? in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

This website has contacted me for work and I noticed Pictudios wallpaper and Mormegil's icons (I think thier mormegil's) being used. I don't want work from people who might be ripping other people. I just thought of something. If you upload any of the skins, make sure they're the original files, that the authors uploaded. This is a problem, for me in helping, because every skin I have ever downloaded, I apply, look it over and tweak and modify, to suit my needs. I feel bad in not helping with the files but I might be able to help with any screenshots. Just a (helpful) suggesting for all skin authors and uploaders. What's really sad, is they have a lot of my stuff, but the files are someone elses. (Example) My Orbital wb has my screenshot, but the .wba file is Orion(Cobalt) by Mormegil. That's the reason I don't like other people uploading or submiting my stuff. They always screw it up. What really gets my goat is, they're using a persons real names. That's wierd! I guess there's no way to stop this.

WMP won't stay selected. in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I'm creating a WMP and when I apply the skin, then close it, then open it back up. It goes to the full mode and I have to choose my skin again. I looked in the preferences to see if I could fix the problem but to no avail. Other skins work fine but mine doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.

Like I said, this skinner (if you want to call them that) does a lot of MSStyles skins. So, as far as I know, it's not any one here at Wincustomize. After I made this thread, I thought to my self, That I shouldn't have. I sound like I'm a little weasel that got my tail stepped on. I just thought that even though the quality of skins has fallen, that the quality of respect should always stay high.

This has been bugging me. Someone (I won't name names) emailed me yesterday and asked if they could upload a port of one of my skins. I had to decline. (Reason being, it didn't look like my skin. Had square buttons, mine had round. Color was a pea green, mine was a blue and they added a bunch of things that just didn't belong.) I tried to explain to them that it was a nice jesture, but they should change the name of the skin and call it thier own and then upload it. They replied back and was

First, let me say thanks Frogboy, for the hard work in explaining this. Now for my first point (which will probably be moot in 3 years), but everyone is going to try to be like the Jones'. If everyone goes to longhorn or avalon, it could dramaticly (change) this web site or hamper it. Do we have to go buy the new windows? (NO!) Hey, everyone. Just wanted to update you on what's happening in this neck of the woods. Business is starting to pick up, so I have had to hire a couple, new, people to help out. First is Todd (let me out) Masters, who has a background in layout and texturing. He has been instrumental in helping out were ever needed. Second is Scott (Don't call me horse) Champion. (He's from Philly. You'll get that later). He has a background in coloring and design. Trust me when I say, he keeps me working.
