Vasari strikecraft are a lot less prone to flak due to their high HP/ammor. Flak work incredibly well against Advent and with TEC. When you see Vasari show up with carriers, you better have Hoshikos and flak ready to go. I'm surpised he built bombers, but perhaps we was targeting your structures (i.e., mil labs and frigate factories are high priorites in rush situations)?
vasari SB is broken, i love it best anti-SB in the game is vas SB
Only problem is that you can't take it with you to your next world :( In order to get a wrecking ball Vasari SB: 3 armor upgrades, 2 weapon upgrades, 2 debris vortex, and 1 frontal shield (you can switch 1 debris vortex to get 4 armor if you care to).
TEC are good at defense early game. Use this to your advantage. If you are next to a Vasari player, assume you are going to get rushed, and drop 2 mil labs. Tech up repair and put 2-3 repair bays down. Tech up LRMs, and build a crap ton. Tech upgrade to repair bays. If you can, build 3 mil lab and then tech hoshikos, or, if you can't get the 3rd lab because your constructors are dead by now, rech 2nd upgrade to repair. Then tech up hanger bays so when
The sync logger instructions are the same for all versions.
If the player was Vasari, you would have been doomed. Advent SC are worthless against flak burst/telepush.
King, what race were they? By the way, an end game fleet with 200 bombers absolutely rocks if you select your targets carefully.
did you guys know??? THIS AYE NEVA CLOSEZZ
This aye neva closezz. Gimme my cigs yo.
Volatile Nanites - Easy to use! Are you fkin insulting us? You encase the enemies in orange shiny balls, and now WHAT? You need a LOT of dps on your side to have ANY use of this ability. The area of each blow is very limited, it requires a badly clustered cloud of targets to set off easily. It in fact requires you to pick particular targets to start a chain reaction correctly. It requires preparation, a high dps, it has a small radius (like what, 2000/3000 from the target point compare
Spaz, there are some instructions for turning on the sync logger. And yes, once you get out of sync, the host and the person who went out of sync will need to e-mail the files. As an aside, Blair actually isn't that good [e digicons]:P[/e]
Wait ! , Surrender is broken because it causes the AI that takes over to be inert. Some noobs will always be noobs and leave when things dont go their way regardless of how their team is doing. Forexample players like Ender. If that noob was on my team , I would hate it if he surrenders. Atleast the AI can stall the enemy .
I was more talking about the situation when the whole team decides it's GG time, but one guy decides to make you nuke each of his planets.
I vote 2 skiranta carriers, 2 kortuls, 84 carriers, 6 subverters, and 6 overseers. All ships outfitted with bombers. PWNED. Oh, and if I can mix in ships from other races, I would replace 4 carriers and 2 overseers with 4 hoshikos and 2 gaurdians.
Again: if MB is fine, why did CB + Malice get nerfed? That's a combo which is much harder to pull off (since you need 2 cap ships, not one) and has a much smaller AoE than MB. And pretty much every counter which works against MB also works against CB + Malice. MB is better in pretty much every way, yet you keep arguing that it's balanced?
To be honest though, 1 volley of MB won't wipe out a fleet. The CB+Malice did. Heck, it even vaporizes low-level cap
So would Bronze be Gold, Platinum or Diamond??? Surely he isn't Silver or Bronze???
How about copper?
Thats how mp should be played! From gentleman to gentleman!
You sure are a gentle man. In other news, I need someone to write a review of you. Also, I've never seen you on ICO. What's your screen name?
So, as a matter of etiquette, when the other side starts saying gg, are you supposed to surrender or something? One of the players in my first actual game got pretty testy after he conceded. Ofc, I'm sure part of it was that it took me over an hour to figure out how to message them.
My biggest pet peev is when the guy who is losing doesn't say GG before quiting. My second biggest pet peev is when the guy doesn't press the surrender button, but instead presses the
I'm talking about technical skills scripting, data mining, etc, not game skill, and definitely not for a clan. FYI
Pretty sure that's illegal dude.
Here's the replay if you're interested re: reply #13: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/8/7/2039910/AutoRecord-04012104.record
Lol, but that list could go on forever...besides, I was told to not single anyone out (remember the blacklist?) By the way, I think it would be hilarious to have Tin, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Perhaps the worst of the worst could be plaid.
Depends. If you are agressive maybe an hour. If you like to be a little more methodical, 2-3 hours. I have heard rumors of 5 hour games, but the longest one I have ever been in was 4 hours. PS. These are entrenchment stats. Vanilla Sins games will likely never go beyond the 3 hour mark.
Demo bots is helps counter HCs. I haven't really noticed as I don't play TEC much, but I thought they affected Caps too.
I will recruit this Free Lancer as one more of my associates.
For the record, one of Snoop's smrufs is ForTheLulz. JJ and I played him last night, and quit about 5 minutes after losing his capital ship. The funnier part was that Snoop was the attacker and JJ was playing defense. I would post the replay, but I'm at work right now. So Snoop, if he has the same skill as you, your clan will be an epic example of quitters.
As Astax said, if you know how to make them "swim" then yes, they are the most lethal in the game. If you use them stationary, you aren't using them right. And I thought Assails had longer range than LRMs. ANyway, I still like Assails because of the phase missles. If I could get an illum that bypassed shields, that would be my new favorite. I feel a mod coming on...
Death by a 1000 paper cuts.
OO! heres a license plate: SPC-EGG OR EGG-RLZ LOL!!!
I think I like EGG-RLZ. If someone asks, and I could just say I like Chinese food.
Volatile Nanites should be used with Charged Missiles and/or Phase Missile Swarm. Makes chain reaction much easier. I manage to set it off every time I use it.
You must only play SP. Sure, the AI let's you do it all the time. No so in
