C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\Data\CustomMaps for me anyway

There seems to be a problem as to where you save your own maps/scenarios. Well maybe not a problem per se, but the defaulted place does not show up when you load the game. Go into your programs and find Twilight og the Arnor, and find where the maps are saved. THis is the directory to which you should move your personal maps to get them to come up.
Thanks ZY. 1.96.027 is what I have :CONGRAT:
The fix is now up on Impulse and Stardock Central.
I just upgraded to .96 5 minutes ago Do I need to do the zip thing too, or where do I find the fix that was put out? Or since I upgraded - at 17:15 July 1 Impulse time - via the Impulse platform am I just fine and dandy?
You need Hull Sizes as techs. Research the Hull Size tech Large Building for Battleships It is an Orange Technology in TA - you should be able to go to the Research Screen and follow the tree there and it will give a description as to what it will let you do. If you have this Technology and still cannot build Battleships, then there is something else wrong.

If you have more than 18 or 20 billion people at the max, there is nothing to do. A planet cannot happily sustain such population. Morale Techs//Trade Goods help a lot. Yellow Morale Resources on the map with fully built Starbases, every +Mining module available. Seems you probably know these options, I am pretty certain you have too many people. Don't let a planet have more than 18 billion people. Some go for 20 billion, but absolutely no more than that.
Unless someone gives a faster way, here is how I do it Start a new game Select a regular race like the Terrans or Drrengin (the idea is to not have a custom race selected at the time) The next screen has "Save" "Load", etc on the bottom Select "Load" This Screen will show all the races that you've played and you can highlight a race Select "Delete" in this window. :D
Not sure if link will work, so copy, paste, download :D http://library.galciv2.com/index.aspx?m=775
Well, you could also load the last save before the treaty. Note that when you give a race a treaty (economic or research) you do not lose anything. The 10% is not subtracted from your treasury/labs, just shared. Also, when you start a war against a race with which you have a treaty, a permanent "-" is added to every other race's view of your civ. That is to say, the other races will look unfavorably upon that action and that view will never change. That being said, if the race wit
Only one way. WAR
18 billion is the max for me, but some try and squeak out 20 billion people. Are you playing Dark Avatar or Twilight of the Arnor, in TA once you get 20,000 BC in the bank, your income will plummet, so spend such that you don't cap. If you get a yellow food tile (300% bonus to food) DONT put a farm there :D Research the +morale techs Build Trade Goods or other special buildings that give a CIV-WIDE bonus to morale. Harmony Crystals, Spices, etc. Fi
Eventually, I carted my full tower case over 1 km by foot to be able to activate my game electronically. I almost got mugged. Thanks for that, by the way.
You typically need access to the internet for updates and expansions that you want, so next time, take a different route. ;) However, you can also purchase expansions with a CD via their website.
i have done that and ya am seeing the customer service here is pretty good better then most other game companys i have had to deal with
Sure is. I had the same problem as you when I upgraded recently to the ToA exp. My emails did not match and nothing would work. At htis point I had no experience on these boards or any digital interaction with the GC2 team. So I sent a mean-spirited email to the stardock support that embarasses me now. :SNIFF!: At the time
I'll be confirming that later, but as far as I remember, +espionage only allows you to SPEND more money, thus getting spies faster. So for example, figuring the exact same incomes for all 3 races:-the Yor with +0 would spend, lets say 1,000bc when set at 25% spending-the Kyrnn with their +50 would spend 1,500bc when set at 25% spending-the Iconians with their +100 would spend 2,000bc when set at 25% spendingThat's at least what I've always thought of it. My next game I'll record costs for
Its easier to go to the Domestic Screen and then Espionage and eliminate them that way. Just double click on the enemy spy for whatever building and POOF, he's gone. Provided of course you have some spies too.
I have hundreds of planets I own, so It would be a bit bothersome to spend 50 hours out spying all the spies on my planets.

mdsorom Hope you feel better soon ant.Day 5 and still nothing better. Bug has been going around... I'm always the last to get it and the hardest hit.Anybody want to trade Xeno Cold Medicine for say... Aft Thruster Filters ???T
Throw in an eco treaty and I'm there ;) The last hit does seem to take a bigger share in my experience too. You'll be fine in a day or two, I got faith!
all your emails that you've used when registering any of the products have to match. If this was your problem, then you need to contact Stardock to tell them what emails you've used and the one email which you wish to use in the future. You may throw in the serial numbers to the respective products as well.
I'm also interested in the effect the bonuses have on these numbers. AFAIK, no one has confirmed that these actually speed things up.
Taken word-for-word from page 14 of my GC2DA manual concerning espionage points in customizing a race, "Espionage adds to the effectiveness of your espionage spending." Also, when going to the galactic manager screen and finding the breakdown under race abilities, the espionage level is listed there. I have checked immediately bef
The Carrier thing with fighter boils down to adding nothing more than Beams and possibly Hitpoints to a large ship. To do it differently, like causing the enemy to have to individually attack these smaller ships - would require an overhaul to the battle system and is not realistic. In my opinion I like the SB ideas though. I would also like to see a cap on eco-SB's affecting a planet. The upgrade via SB's and planets seems like a neat idea too.
No i want the drath to be able convince the arcean into talking the humans to attack the drath.
 Wow! Race 1 convinces race 2 to go and convince race 3 to attack race 1! That would be neat I admit, but very hard don't you think?
DarkKnight, I think I know exactly what you're talking about, and why this occurs. You said there is a point in which you switch to producing things social/military, where before those planets were not producing? If you have spending at, for example: 25/20/55 = Military/Social/Research Those planets are not building things, then the 45 percent of your economy that is spent on building (mil/social) goes back into your treasury. But, once you tell a
You can also hit the "1" button on the Keyboard to instantly zoom in on whatever ship you have selected. Does not work for planets however.
I'm a bit confused. You want, for example, the Drath to talk to the Arcean such that the Drath convince the Arcean to attack a third race? Who is the "home" race, the human player? If you mean that there are no races that convince other races to fight with one another, you are mistaken. This happens quite often, you should get a pop-up from a race that says for instance "We have decided that the Drengin are not fit to live in this galaxy, or that's what we've been paid to th
