Modding isn't losing popularity because people are losing interest, people aren't modding because they CAN'T. DRM and Steam often lock down games to the point where modders can't do much with them these days. People would LOVE to mod Dawn of War 2 for example, but it's simply too much hassle and their modding forum has little in the way of interesting projects. Which I don't get. Mods are what keep games alive and popu
I wish I knew something... Umm why did I post? To say its great what you done for dem cammunity boyz. You should make a speech or something.

(like bonds) Riquma (reye ku mar?) sounds better than Rigma, its the g - its ugly. I don't want ugly
Maybe concepts and ideas can be used as currency. "I will trade you a herd of sheep for 5 sexual reveolutions and 2 emancipations" (And a partrige in a pear tree?)
Anyway I'm guessing EA knew C&C4 was going to bomb before they announced the closure. It wouldn't make sense to close a studio that was still making money. The confusing part is why they would publicly announce that. There's no way in hell any of the developers would put any real effort into their work after knowing you'll be canned after the project ends. It's like EA flat out telling everyone the ga
The great thing about letting th eplayer name their own is that it would simply chnage the string, so all the currnacy, even in trade would be the same to you. It might be different but you would see "Virgins" and they would see "Gems" and another player would just take the default which could be "Rigmarks" - whatever.
Sounds good.
Quoting Savyg, reply 99Why would any of these companies die? They have millions of loyal followers and a steady stream of revenue. They'd have to do something extraordinarily stupid to go out of business. To big to fail. Hmmm, where have i heard that before... Hmmm...
At no point is anyone or anything safe, from failure.
Basically Rigma makes me think "ugh". I don't want to handle your Rigma! NO WAY! Would you accept the Orc's rigmas as payments?
Only if I can cut them out myself...
Human Mk 4 Oh wait, this isn't GalCiv - dosn't work like that here. The quotes need to be funny and apt, high attack with low speed and a crushing weapon should give "ME CRUSH!!" type quotes. As for unit names they should depend on the evil factor of your faction, lol. So "Worthless Pesants" and "Skull Riders" for one and "Honourable Malita" and "Holy Horses" for the same sytle units would be a nice alternative to the obvioius "Heavy Caval

Thats like Star, or Dimonice (Is she Dimonized?) and Lilly - not not going through the rimgarole of rigamortis or the rigours of uncleanliness. Basically Rigma makes me think "ugh". I don't want to handle your Rigma! NO WAY!
Maybe they should just throw another shrimp on the barby?

Why don't we just use bottle caps? Or how about Judas! Thats will be 30 peices Judas thanks you.
I second the florens. Not that it would happen. Rigma and gildars both sound wrong to me. Minting your own coins would be wickedly cool, though I doubt developers will have time to implement it in any meaningful way. But if we talk about fiction in the world of elemental, different civilizations should definitely have different coins. It would be really strange if all the warring countries minted exactly the same type of coins. <br
I like Crowns (real world) that has a royal appeal to it. Thus these "I MADZ A WARD!!" names just make me cringe. The suggestion to let us type it in outselfs was the best IMO I use virgins for currency anyway. Or the skulls of gnomes. If I have to hand over a bag full of shiskibahibannieh'sheufls then Im gonna be pissed!
Own it, gonna coop it, not gonna multi it.

Apple console? lol the iPlay? It costs $2000 and the games cost $150 each. Its features a clean white interface. The controllers only have one stick and one button - thats all you need on a mac. You can upgrade it, by buying a new one. The new one costs more and has less features but is thinner and is a different colour. Despite being named like a vibrator thousnads of apple fans queue for months to get one, and when they finally have it in their hands - put it

Do you know what 'improve' means? Perhas 'progress'? Maybe even just 'change'? Also Steam is competing with many other entitys, not just other digital platforms I buy most of my games for cheaper retail than steam offers anyway. You also forgot to mention Impulses front page isn't very nice with not enough space dedicated to the "new" and "comming soon" etc tabs like steam has (people are lazy, they don't click 'more'). Most people don't want to clutter their computers with more digital distribution programs than they have to. Because of that, and because Steam already has nearly every publisher and developer under its wing, I'm not sure how many companies will attempt to implement games with
