Reminds me of Arma 2 Vs Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. The totaly untested, first time FPS ever for codemasters had these insatiable fanbois tell us that DR was going to "destroy" Arma2 and 'redefine' the genre. What happen? Most of those fan boys quit the game within 2 months since it was terrible, the fan sites closed down with messages telling thier viewers that the game failed. They even offically stopped support of the game with terrible bugs left in. Mean while Arma 2 is s

It makes slightly more sense when people 'campaign' on forums to get the opposing faction in a multiplayer game nerfed but its pretty sad for these people to try and do that with real products and services. This is serious business. On the internet. And incase anyone asks: Yes, I am VERY cereal.

Yeah, I mean if you don't have that community card its really annoying, you might even go to jail - then you can't pass go and you can't collect £200. umm... I think Im doing this wrong. What I hate is where one company offers "THIS FEATURE" and the other company offers "THAT FEATURE". I want BOTH features. Both, the one who does both the best should get my money. Not get it by forcing people to have an arkward experince as they lack something they want bu

Isn't that kind of dumb from a business point of view? Aren't you suposed to let the plebs do all the mod work for you like some kind of internet age serf? Good luck with that though. Im sure you will run into engine hardcoded limits and eventually drop the project for a better engine. :P lol

Graphics are not a problem, thats the easy bit. You can easily scale up the outsourced talent for assets to whatever spec they need. Im talking about the quest content, the story and stuff. The feel of the world - the important stuff. For ME sequels, It feels like a shooter so I don't really expect that much more than a plot, some shootery bits and some 'hot space chicks'. I expect quite a bit more from games who are real RPGs. Thats all.

You can name it "e-peen" if you want, it doesn't change the fact that there is no real magic, only possible and impossible. If in the game universe it is considered possible (real) then it's not magic (as usual understood). Unless you are in a fantasy game in which you must name i

And lets not forget that witches don't cast spells in the real world. They are incantations or invocations. TOTALY different stuff. For example when the nameless ones were woken from their terrible slumber under the desert sands it was an invocation that brought them to this world. Indeed magic was useless against them in general. Spells are not going to work here. Another famous example was the first opening of the hell gate under the site the Vatican is currently built upon.
