I want to say something about SupCom2 here. I have finished the single player and explored skirmish a bit. Let me start by outlining what I 'wanted' (not expected) from SupCom2. I wanted it to be streamline, the number of units to be reduced to a more manageable level. I wanted strategic options to be more important, better terrain to exploit, like gullys and passes, hills and rivers. I wanted cool improved graphics and animations. I wanted it to keep the planning focused gameplay.
Do road-building and improvements in general like in "Civilization: Call to Power". This is by far the best solution I've seen, and it has been really disappointing that the real Civilization series didn't continue that idea. It almost just seems they ignored an execelent idea because they refused to acknowledge Call to Power even existed.
Call to Power existed? What was its mechanic?
I feel like I've gone back in time with knowledge of the future...
I could tell Supreme Commander 2 wasn't going to be as good as the first one when Square Enix, a maker of JRPG's, was announced as the publisher for a Western RTS. I then saw the E3 preview video with the tiny maps that showed off the unit upgrade system. Later I heard they removed the flow resource system and engineer-assisted building. At that point I knew SupCom2 was going to fail, hard.
Its n
They get the anger and hatred out of thier system and can't be bothered to waste thier emotions of a faliure of a game (to them). Its a shame, but Supreme Commander is now a console title. Who knows, they may even make it exclusively console next time. It dosn't seem to fill any gaps, it gets TOTALY ANNIHILATED (har har) by starcraft II at what its trying to do. I want to say more about this somehow.
That never happens in the UK that I've ever seen (I used to buy them from shops but I don't like the outside) and its legally enforced here. I order games through the slow mail now since my internet connection isn't fast enough to download them. I also like fondling the DVD boxes...

I've heard the cracked version is working fine. This proves just how wrongheaded these schemes are. It's taking the "legitimte version is inferior to the stolen one" to the extreme, in that it flat out doesn't work. It's just giving people who actually gave Ubisoft cash for this scheme a taste of what it wi
Is it possible you changed the normals in XSI? I don't use it so im not sure if thats even possible. I also don't know how the convert XSI .exe actually works. How much it calculates and how much it just rips from XSi. Just an idea, I doubt anyone has really been affected by this odd normals stuff.
Its a new character right, not your Fallout 3 char??

Umm reset xform?
Did I mention I don't like XSI?
Okay that is a true fanboy.
I much prefer digital maps... I guess I can zoom in and point my finger at the screen and say things like "The main force will advance along things route. Reinforcments will come up from here. We need to watch for ambushes here, here and here. Any questions?" - to my self .
Id pay £100 (thats real money btw) for a real SupCom 2 rather than the console edition.
I just read the Gamespy review (i use places like this to keep tabs on the mainstream fools) for SupCcom2. Heres a quote: "If you were hoping for the original game's orbital, detached unit management, prepare to be sorely disappointed. If, however, you want a very solid Command & Conquer clone, you should definitely wait two weeks until C&C4 comes out. But in case you hate Electronic Arts and/or the number four, SupCom 2 makes a fine alternative." Personally I

If thats true (I don't see why it wouldn't be - however much ubisoft wants to delude themselves as they chug back thier silly wine) thats utterly halrious. I mean how much do you think they spent setting up this DRM scheme? (Possibly not much by the sounds of how crap it is).

I see you went with the 'Symbol' box template design there. Very Black and White. Wait, more than 10,000 players are left on PC?! :O
TA has one of my favourite intro moives. Plot setup: simple. Total Annihilaiton. Then some awesome action as you went from one commander to the other. I loved it. The graphics must be horrible today...
I knew what he ment, I was lighteming the mood. I don't see why you would need a mini-game inside the not-mini-game if the not-mini-game is good enough. People should have stuff to do or check or fine tune while waiting unless your in a unlimited or long game and thats your choice to go afk and read forums and stuff.
