You would think there were more MAXscript/tool programmers who are too comfortable with 3ds to use XSI. In case anyone is still trying this, you have to reload the script to get the exporter to work, I really can't work out why it works like that though. I doubt you will get an answer from the guy who made this btw, don't think hes posted for over a year. (?)

I used to use (and learned on) Paint shop pro, but when corel took over it took a nose dive in stability and capability so I was 'forced' to invest in Photoshop. How fortunate they fixed all the things I didn't like about Ps by cs3/cs4.

TB (and Hellgate) were destined to failure. They simply didn't have big enough markets with tiher quality. TB wasn't a good enough RPG or action game so not enough of either playerbase played, Hellgate was a crap action game with some WoW talents plonked on top which isn't good enough for the playerbases either. Hybrids need to be really good in all aspects, not just mediocre if they want people to stick around and pay for it.

In the old days it was hard to get any information about the game WITHOUT the manual. I remember having my open at the computer to read what I needed to cast spells or whatever. Now everything should be avalible in game (including lore which often isn't).

It seems to be scripting for shaders (pixel and vertex from the names). Its run by the game at some point. Im not sure how hardcoded it is but the exact in and outputs seem to be nessesary (or stuff dosn't work, which was my second attempt to fix the exhust colours). You CAN reinstate the shield colours with these files though (as in you can enable something the devs originaly had but then changed).

I love the manual, that lovely new smell that im sure must be horrible chemicels - but its smells nice! Anyway the manual is there for 'stupid' people.
