Kryo's right. A good videocard alone just doesn't cut it. Dropping a little extra for a new computer will get you more bang for your buck, and it will last a whole lot longer.
I also didn't get the accomplishment since a requirement was to do it alone.
I got the 3 Hard AI achievement by doing a 2 hard vs me and a hard. Just before we finished the 2nd enemy, I turned and stabbed my ally in the back, and I got the achievement. I was surprised.
Why speak correctly w|-|3/\/ u c@/\/ $p3@k 1337?
If I were a mod, and I were just a bit meaner, that would be bannable. ;)
I'm sure somebody would find fault even if there wasn't a game to find fault with.
One more thing now; i have almost finished my mod (it took me an hour to do and works perfectly) but i need one more tweak. That is, what file do i find the income sources for the crystal and metal asteroids? i want to increase them to make the game faster...
You could just mod the speed options in the gameplay.constants file.
Akkan's Ion bolt is invaluable to me and targeting uplink isn't bad. Which is the Vasari Crippler?
After doing some checking on one game, I discovered that my 3 AI allies were all enemies AND were all allied to all the AIs that I wasn't allied with. :NOTSURE:
I always forgot about my allowance for a few months until I realized I had enough for a video game. But once I got a job, I suddenly became an almost-miser. The only stuff I've really splurged on was a new computer to replace my (On average) 5-year-old computer and a few games. And lunches. I paid off almost $600 (got that because it can take months to find an entry-level job here, don't even start on professional jobs) of debt and now have almost $1600 saved and the new computer in abo
No. I almost never have a problem unless trying old mods. Are you using the latest version? Hardware to spec? Drivers updated?
Ram is a bit low. Processor?
Note that you can't see where it goes and ships won't auto use until the first time you send something through.
Or just someone whose first language is not English.
I'd heard of it before, but I didn't know it had an acronym. Ten seconds with Google fixed that.
Would be nice and interesting. But probably not high up on the list of things to add unfortunately.
You have to combine the files outside of the game. Otherwise there would probably be conflicting information.
Ignorance of safe browsing behavior is the real culprit.
Also bull. Even the best drivers will get rear-ended. They can do alot to reduce the chances, but they can't eliminate them. Ain't their fault, but it happens. AKA: **** happens.
PEBKAC.
How about an IDTenT error?
I've no clue on the ratios. The way they are listed in the gameplay.constants suggests they do change differently. But I don't know the base speed. From what I've seen, most online games are made with normal speeds.
Yeah, it changes the amount of fleet supply. You are talking about small/normal/large fleets option, right?
You'd think that in the future, pirates would be literate enough to talk properly.
It's a tradition.
I do believe that is referring to shield mitigation. I would think that shieldAbsorbGrowthPerDamage = how fast the mitigation goes up, shieldAbsorbDecayRate = how fast it goes down, shieldAbsorbBaseMin = the minimum mitigation, shieldColor is self explanatory.
who shoots a colony ship anyway?
Well I'm not letting it shoot me!
I don't think the option itself is broken, but I think the numbers in the research screen don't change with the setting properly.
I don't like BBQ or alcohol... Woot! anyways.
I wanted to love it... but I can't.
Bad form (not to mention bad idea) for any program to require you to shut down your malware protection just to install it.
Mass Effect (Got it as a gift) actually refused to run with antivirus at all. Saw an email by the SecuRom people that said that the antivirus software could uncover their methods. So it's intentionally not allowing me to even play the game with antivirus also running.
Several years, if you update, don't use IE and don't open random executa
Well one common methodology is to simply release successive updates that only update from the second latest version. So you'd have to run 1.00->1.01, 1.01->1.02, etc. Nowhere near as tedious as it sounds, and easy to do. Could always release one that patches from 1.00 to latest, and from second latest to the current latest.
I certainly found it tedious with Company of Heroes. If you're unlucky enough to get the original release version, you'll have to download a full 2GB befor
