Yeah, a level 1 ankylon with the only research done that boosts it being tier 1 hull upgrades vs a midgame pirate base, once the thing hit level 2 it was clear that no matter what i did the pirates couldn't kill it. By the time it was level 3 the only thing they could do was keep it's sheilds down, the hull regen was too high for them to do antyhing to it.

Actually this ability I've had a great time with on autocast. First it got me a pirate ship, then a hangar and after that a carrier. I was too busy babysitting my titan to bother with this ability other than on autocast and it worked just fine as far as I could tell.

The titans are just plain impressive, to test out my new Ankylon I took it to a pirate base by itself midgame. It was level 1 with only the tier one hull research done. By the time the entire pirate fleet was dead it was level 3 and I was no longer concerned about it dying... to anything. It was in the pirate base that I first noticed some issues with it. First is it's engagement/weapons range. Against enemy fleets, absolutely marvelous, it leaves something to be desired with stru

Whoever did the shadows, simply amazing. I had to turn them down to medium to cutdown on lag but watching some of my frigates flying past my cap ship and the shadows dancing across it's hull as they prepped for phase jump... simply stunning and somehow very immersing.

Mix it up a bit.[/quote] Lore wise, it's becuase both the vasari and advent are attacking tec space so all of the worlds you see are governed by a planetary government of human (TEC) origin. Advent are here for revenge and left their own worlds far behind, Vasari are here to escape and left their empire for dead.

Not to get off topic but since you went there first, Do you really believe what you said? Comparing people, real live people, to games? Unfinished post huh? Why would you post it if you didn't believe it? Unfinished things don't have to be pretty? Who would use that analogy unless they believed it? Just because I'm living a "full, albeit limited life" I don't deserve to live? You think I should be killed? So Hitler got it pret

If you want to get a taste of this feature, fight a cruel borg AI from Sacrifice of Angels 2. If you want to see the mayhem this can cause you should have played as borg vs borg before a patch was implemented to make it so it cannot taget borg ships. The battles at that point degenerated from killing the enemy fleet to capturing the better ships and blowing up weakened ships before they switched sides again, wasn't pretty.

In addition the new engine uses all four cores of two cpu's and requires dual PCIe card rigs. The new game will also allow you to sit in a full cockpit setup that comes in the boxed set using 3d glasses and a surround screen. It's pretty awesome. Comes with a force-feedback chair and body suit. Weapon hits are simulated with electrical shocks a

On a different note, I suppose they could be running from the devs with nerf bats and banhammers.

Battle ships are just that, they are not titans and therefore should almost always have an attendant fleet. The Kol should be heavily used when fighting the vasari. It's one cap ship they can't pulverize easily once they have full missile research. The rail gun on the Kol is nice for the reduced speed, but it's meant for damage not disable like ion bolt. The radiance is meant to literally tank for your fleet, which it can do quite well if you keep

For a small service fee of course which is perfectly understandable since your idea will then be out of your head and something perfectly usable. And it will probably be better sorted than when it was in your head. Wel
