If the Vasari can get two Enforcers, then for the same cost the TEC can get two kodiaks AND a hoshiko. Reintegrion is inferior to Hoshi repair AND the enforcer cant shoot or move when using it. However, reintegration is still useful as it stacks with repair bays, repair cloud and reactive nanite armour. Some or all of these abilities combined make a powerful combo. Reintegration is not bad, bit it still needs a little love. The Enforcer also needs cheaper wave upgrades and hig

Some pretty good ideas here, but I don't like the ideas of not colonising planets, not having credits and having a frigate carrier. It is totally inconsistant with the rest of the game and contradicts the entire game philosophy of sins. Uniqueness is great but only if it make in-game sense. Population growth is not "breeding". Population growth is bring more people on the planet under your control, registering more individuals for taxation. Thats how one of the Stardock guys described

I think the problem with the enforcer is not that its weapons have low cost efficiency. The problem is that they decided to give it hugely expensice weapon upgrades AND make it cost extra fleet supply on top of giving it weak weapons. That is clearly going overboard. Boosting its DPS to 22 would be good imo. It would have more cost effective guns, but won't be OP due to extra fleet supply cost. Moving the Wave cannon tech tree down a level would also help. A small boost in each of the

Its range is greater by about 40%, it has better health, and it has phase missiles. Phase missiles are awesome.
The kanrak is less cost effective then the LRM and it has a shorter range. The javelis is the longest ranged LRM not the kanrak.
Why would Defense Vessels do anything to LRMs? They take out SC...
Fl
there should be some sort of arbitrary point system applied to winning, losing, objectives achieved, damage caused and taken etc etc, so its easier to understand at a glance, rather than reading a mission report.
good point.
Have a look at natural selection. They are working on a sequel using a new engine. Basically there is an Alien team, their is a builder class and other fighting classes - other than that quite a normal fps.<b
If it could destroy Devastator, it should more than exceed the structural limitations of the turret mount.
You think about this film waaaaaaay too much. Speed alone is not what makes a weapon damaging, it is also acceleration and mass. Devastator was destroyed becauase the shell was travelling so fast. The railgun itself is EXTREMELY heavy so that it has very little backwards exceleration. Equal momentum to the shell but it travels much slower. This is t

Yeah, getting every ability upgrade at high rank would be good. Misusing abilites and so losing them sounds interesting. Online perhaps they should be detailed records. Not just "games won" and "games lost" but also popularity, damage done to enemies etc. For example, you might be severely outnumbered and whip the other guy for most of the match, but then you get swamped by sheer numbers and lose. This should be recorded. Rather the simple wins and loses, there should also a record of
i wasnt thinking of this so much, i was thinking more like you can choose who plays as the RTS player and who plays as an FPS player.
I didn't mean over the course of a single match, I meant over a course of several skirmishes. Like a RPG element. The "choosing" system should be in quick matches. RPG style promotions etc would be in some sort of "Grand Campaign". I think both would be able to work. Lots of really good ideas here. I like the diea that the FPS guy can contact the General and say "we need air support!" so that communication works both ways.
and still manage to get a strategic objective done, the FPS player gains points (rank points, exp points, whatever kind of points i havent decided yet, some ideas would be appreciated though
I like this alot.
well, depends on what you expect from such a movie. is an intelligent movie? hell no! does it explain everything? not exactly. are there inconsistancies? there are. but is it fun to watch? yes, quite so. it's really two hours of metal-trashing, action packed mindless fighting. if you expect much more than that, you'll probably be disappointed. btw, didn't see part 1, but I doubt that so much more would be explained there.
If you didn't see the first one, or i

I want them to be a critical part in a fleets SC, instead of a afterthought after massing a large number of Carrier Cruisers.
I agree. However, I think that 9 or 12 squads at level 10 would be best. It is still enough to make a significant difference. Interesting idea. So the FPS player is given objectives by the RTS player? I'm not sure how this would work, but it would be fun if it did. Maybe the FPS player through promotions gets higher ranking and eventually becomes the RTS player: the General. MP maps would be huge with thousands of people on a single map and epically long skirmishes. (Lag would likely be terrible though.) The leader of the clan would be the RTS player and he commands the other guys on his team. This would giv
